Peter ,we are so so sorry to hear about Margaret.I've sent you a text but dont know if you've changed number recently.Margaret was a lovely,fantastic woman who I had always had a giggle with. I'll always remember at our wedding when my mum went over to chat to Margaret and remarked that it was a lovely surprise for you both to come,Margaret just replied " I wasnt going to miss this Pauline because Simon has always been my favourite." ( I slipped her a tenner soon after!!!!) Both Sarah and I will be there a week on Monday.God bless.

Remember the good times and remember that she obviously loved you. Really am gutted for you chief, but I'm sure your faith will see you through.

It's my close season but I'd like to add my own sincere condolences to Peter and family at this incredibly sad time.

I hope your advance warning (terrible as it was) was a blessing, not everyone is allowed the time or opportunity to say goodbye to their loved ones.

So sad to read your eloquent and dignified words about the recent loss of your wife. Your grief will heal with time as those of us who have also lost loved ones will testify. I am sure the Rugby League family will also help you in this regard.

Sorry to hear your sad news DA, always a difficult time when you lose a loved one. As others have said, remember the good times, of which there sound to be plenty, and be grateful for the opportunity to take the time to say goodbye.

It's heartening to hear that your fellow rugby fans offer you some kind of support at a time like this.
