| Hopefully we have someone else coming in, otherwise we look a bit thin if we are relying on Holdroyd as 5th prop and TNW

| Gamble that didn't work. You can add size and strength in the gym, you can add skills on the training pitch, but it's hard to add raw aggression and determination which were the things that Justin was missing.
We need to be a little bit careful about replacing the losses in the pack. Whilst the incoming players seem to be better (or better prospects) than those leaving, we need to watch out that we don't go too low on numbers too.
This was the right decision.

Totally agree. More than any other position, prop forward is a numbers game. You only have to look at Wigan to see that. Glad that Sangare has gone (and good luck to him at Salford) but we can't leave Arthur hamstrung with only 5 senior props. Not if he wants to play a power game.

| The Sangare contract extension was possibly the worst decision ever made by the club. I can’t believe they were that stupid.

| Such a bizarre decision by the club, typical of thinking at the time. Not the lads fault for sure, and I wish him well for the future. However, it feels like we're at the birth of a new era, regardless of how long BA stays, just need to grasp it with both hands.

| Just more off season churn is how I see it. Once they start on some of the home grown deadwood I might get a bit of belief back.

Holroyd could play 2 games a season for the next 3 years, I'd still keep him over sangare.

Out of contract at the of 2025. He's got to get himself on the pitch and playing well this coming season.

Definitely, if he gets a major injury again he’s done.
Hopefully he finds his early 2023 form, no one wants to be offloading these young players but its not sustainable the amount we have had sat in the stands fir last 2-3 years.

| Yep, decisions will have to be made at some stage if they cannot get themselves on the field. I'm not suggesting binning him or Gannon or Simpson, but that's three players who should be in our top 25 (Simpson should be at his age if he's going to make it) who have spent long periods unavailable. Unless they are ruled out before the season starts, it has an effect on our salary cap even if they aren't on mega bucks as we can't sign anyone in the meantime, and obviously impacts our squad depth.
I really hope all three make it. Nothing better than homegrown players starring for the club. Holroyd has the perfect build for a prop and Gannon looked a star in the making. It would be terrible if injuries meant they never reached their potential.
