| I'd personally give McCormack or Smith a go at winger over Roberts but know that will not happen.
Likewise, I'd rather not go with Sangare or Goudemand, however, there is little other option.

| No pressure on us with that squad which might help. Can't see past and easy win for Catalans.
Don't expect much from the next 2 games, we then need to rack up some wins. Crunch time comes in mid July when we should have some players back and it's going to be top 6 teams every week.

| Roberts looked better at centre. Is there another youngster that could play on the wing outside Newman with Roberts at centre inside of Handley?
Think it will be another hard day at the office. Hope they put in a performance they can be proud of.

We’ve a raft of young, talented outside backs who could play this season and get experience. Ned McCormack, Jack Smith and Max Simpson plus the injured Lumb

| We might have to carry Edgell, McCormack or Smith on the bench to cover injuries to the backs, or even to allow Martin to drop back into the pack later in the game. Newman might play but he is liable to break down as we know.
In the middle we're pretty close to first choice really. This is the ideal game to bring Frawley back in - being dropped gives him some added motivation, and he won't be in front of a large Leeds crowd to get on his back - also more Australian conditions. Also back at six you would imagine so - I'm expecting a good game from him this week. Let's hope...

| I would prefer McCormack or Smith at wing or centre over Edgell from what i've seen.
Sinfield / Frawley should be a straight shoot out for a spot against Saints.

| Wouldn't be surprised if he went with Ackers and Sinfield in the halves as per last week. Might explain the Johnson recall.

| That would show a real lack of confidence in frawley. Smith said in his press conference that it'd be sinfield and frawley. Id imagine johnsone is just in the 21 as cover for any late injuries.

| Johnson and Smith both drop out as both are at Butlins this weekend with the rhinos challenge.

Johnson played a blinder in the reserves last week, will be interested to see if he makes the game day squad.
Whoever plays right wing for us is going to need a good game against Johnstone. You'd imagine Cats will come down our right hand side all day long. I think I'd be tempted to play Jack Smith in this game with Edgell on the bench again.

| Smith looked good in the preseason game he played, kid seems to have good awareness, size and pace. He should be the next cab off the rank as the saying goes. I'd rather give these kids the gametime than Roberts for example.

I just think he has some toe, not as much as Johnstone I'm sure, but maybe enough to cover breaks. He is more a centre than wing but you could swap him in for Lumb maybe. We're in "least bad" selection choices now so we're going to have to compromise somewhere and hope for the best bascially.
