Quote: rugbyreddog "Bit of a mix from me as a Bratfud lad. Have to admit when I first saw Burrow I gave him two seasons at the most. He must be hard as nails. My 3 would be
1. Jamie Peacock. Never seen him take a backward step and for sitting Willie Mason on his booty.
2. Brian McDermott. Hard as iron and sent off in 1997 cup semi for attacking 3 players at same time. I personally thought he was defending himself against a gang attack.
3. Bernard Dwyer. When we had run out of subs he completed a game with not one but two torn biceps.'"

No2 he ted 3 of the smallest blokes on the pitch.

Quote: Shabino "Bit of off season fun. Who are the toughest 3 players you’ve seen and why?'"

Great question and you must have been reading my mind as I was only discussing this topic only the other day but worded slightly differently

My question was:
If you had to take a hit up whilst camped on your own try line, which defenders would you hate in front of you waiting to clobber you?
1: Mozza
2: Gaz Ellis
3: Sam Burgess
(and in no particular order as they'd all smash you icon_lol.gif )

Of the overseas players that I have seen:
1: Sonny Bill Williams
2: Tonie Carroll
3: Gordon Tallis

Barrie Mc
Moz
Izzard

With honourable mentions to a few of my favourites of the years who never took any shiyte Harvey Howard, Glanville, Senior, and finally, for different reasons, probably similar to Burrow, Danny Buderus - that bloke would put his head anywhere if he thought it was worthwhile for the team.

Edit.... missed off probably the toughest ever - Paul Dixon. He was old school cement!

I’m bored today , how about a hard British team, and why for each player ...

1) Hardaker (always puts his body on the line, tackles anyone who breaks the line)
2) Gaz Raynor (always just seemed pretty tough to me)
3) Chev walker ( was tougher than most blokes at 16!)
4) Senior
5) Dom Manfredi ( strong as an ox and amazing that he’s making another comeback )
6) Sinfield ( how did he play on and win us a Grand Final after being knocked out?
7) Burrow
icon_cool.gif Morley (bossed in NRL)
9) Micky Mac ( hardly flinched after fracture dislocation to ankle)
10) Peacock (warrior)
11) Gaz Ellis ( made of granite)
12) Andy Farrell ( monster of a man)
13) Lockers ( so so tough in defence)

Interchange
14) Fielden ( was untouchable at one time )
15) Sam Burgess ( again NRL hard man)
16) Cunningham ( an absolute beast)
17) Kylie ( don’t run at him)

Coach - Brian Mac

I used to love watching Gaz Ellis tackle. When he hit someone, it was like they run full tilt into a brick wall.
