| Leeds up 18-12 at HT. Corey Johnson made 2 tries and Waite-Pullan looks very good in 2nd row, big and mobile. The 19s pack this year should be outstanding.

| Think Waite-Pullen is too old for 19’s. Bit surprised he’s not on loan at Fev to be honest.

| Leeds won 46-24 in end. Newman moved to full back in 2nd half.
19s play Hull away in a friendly in 2 weeks and then their season starts. They should have a good season.

| Not to distract on thread, but I have just been at Fev. Singleton good strong game. But Cam Smith fantastic, MOM and squatting players off for fun, great footwork, plenty offloads. Way too good for this level. Walters played centre and looked terrible

That’s great to hear. And, with Crosby coming back I wonder whether Singleton stays out for a wee while, and Smith goes in. Could swap out Sutcliffe and Donaldson potentially to make way.

It was clear Singleton was under new instructions to change his game, and rightly so. Played 60 straight minutes also. He ran strongly, sometimes twice a set, and none of that crappy diagonal run back to the ruck, that IMO has ruined his game. He ran straight and strong, and some passes straight at the line.
Spoke to Smith after the match, and he said he and Singleton only trained with Fev first time on Thursday night. Smith was so damn good.
The PNG scrum half looked pretty good too.

Well is an understatement. You know I have always been a big fan, but today was really pleasing to see. I hope he hasn’t been let down by the Leeds coaching, and they were there to watch.
I think playing with his brother though was a big influence, seemed to enjoy it. Didn’t realise Daniel was there also until today.

I think Sir Kev and Furner was as Keighley. I didn't see them but was told they had asked for tickets.
Cam will no doubt be pushed further down pecking order with JJB and Ablett back soon.

| Should be announced who is going over to Keighley on loan this week. Won’t be surprised if it’s the England Academy guys.

Singleton do enough for a recall do you think? If so who would make way? Thought Peteru looked very good against Wigan.

If he continued his game the way he played on Sunday, then I would say yes. I can not do with his game of running five metres back into the ruck and no further yardage, that seemed to be a McDermott instruction. On Sunday he looked like the type of running he displayed in 2015, tha he hasn't really kicked on from. Plus he also played 60 straight minutes, which with the interchanges is good to see.
