Tough on Lilley as he didn't get a chance to do much last night but I'd go with this, bar bringing someone (probably Ferres) into the second row if Delaney is out. Whilst German Jim has not stood out this year when he's been fit (unlike last year, when he carried us on occasions), it's nice to have him back as he can do a number of jobs off the bench.

Keinhorst did pretty well last night he adds energy which is a big factor.

A chance to close the gap on cas and pull away from third.

I'd leave Ferres out personally, if he's even fit enough to be selected.

Leeds could field a weaker side and still win easy - I don't buy this "teams always raise their game against Leeds".

Wakefield made the 8 because Warrington/Catalans simply haven't shown up - they are a poor side full of very average players.

If Leeds have GF aspirations they should be beating side like Wakefield at a canter and I expect a wide margin of victory this week.

Sal I hope your words come back to bite you.
Wakefield are not a poor side and when they
gel they are a very good side to watch.
They finished 5th on merit.
Even Leeds are not supermen every week or in
your case season 2016.
Have some respect and lets see what happens
on Thursday where you and all Rhinos fans will be made
welcome. I will even be sitting next to my youngest
grandson in his Leeds shirt while my eldest plays for
your under 19's.

eusa_clap.gif Well said, I'm sure most will see this as a game we should win but that a slip up is a real possibility. You are correct that Wakey deserve respect and are no easy beats, especially not at home. I look forward to a great game icon_thumb.gif

Sal does this regularly, complains about how poor we are and predicts us to finish well down the table at the start of the year and to slip out of the 4 until recently but then usually says we should every week and by a certain margin. I think it's so that if we don't win or only win by a small margin he can then complain that we are rubbish.

Not every team might raise their game against Leeds but Wakey at home often do.

Even if Warrington and Catalans had "shown up" Wakey would still be 7th and I think a lot of people had Catalans down for a bottom 4 position and behind Wakey so no surprise at all to see them finish where they did.

If we win this week then the margin of victory will tell us absolutely nothing about our GF aspirations. Cas won there a few weeks back by a single point.

I wont be taking anything for granted against Wakey, yes they are frustratingly inconsistent but they do make life difficult for us whenever we play them and are a very capable team once they get into a roll.

This is the time of year you need to get some momentum - if Leeds have genuine GF aspiration they should be hitting their best form about now. They were excellent against Wigan - bring anything like that form to Wakefield and it will a large win.

Wakefield have conceded 80 points in the last two games - even you said Wakefield look like they have put the cue on the rack - so don't contradict yourself

Most people would agree the standard of the SL is at a low ebb so to suggest otherwise is pushing against the tide.

Wakey do look like they've thrown the towel in in general and can't see them making the top 4 now but wouldn't go as far as to say they couldn't put in a good performance against us. If they've got another good showing in them in the remaining games it'll likely be against us or Cas at their place.

This season has shown anybody can beat anybody and performances can vary wildly from week to week.

You have to be in good form and momentum for the playoffs but still several games before then, don't want to peak too early.

Irrespective of what we did v Wigan & Wakeys last 2 scores we of all Teams should know nothing is a given.
Sal 3 times this year we've been well beaten by a Team at the bottom of the SL.
Wakey deserve credit for their place in the top 6 & only a few weeks ago we only beat them by 2pts.

If anybody can beat anybody in the comp this season someone should tell the Leeds players before their 4th and hopefully 5th meeting with Castleford this year.
