Did this not happen a couple of years ago and everyone got funnelled into the north stand between it and the Carneige - I missed the first 10 minutes of the game IIRC - sunny Sunday afternoon I think?

The Leeds/Wigan cup game from 2010 with Lee Smith's winner was played in very wet weather so cricket will surely have had no play if it was scheduled that day.

There's a difference between them being on on the same day, which has happened quite a few times on Fridays, and them being on at the same time, which has happened only a couple.

Presumably this is the former?

The fact that Yorkshire wrapped up the victory earlier in the day meant that there was no 'clash' of fans
There was an increased smell of urine though.....

Sky only have Hull vs Wigan on Saturday as a TV game for that week so far so our game could still be moved to Thursday night as they currently don't have any match scheduled for that night.

Given the outcome of our Middle 8's game at Headingley last season, perhaps we ought to challenge them to a game of cricket this year, then?
