What a bizarre rant. Least of all by a Salford fan! Whilst Leeds' season has petered out, they still won the cup. I'd say most teams in the league should be envious a little.

Only London had a worse league record than Leeds from the Manchester weekend onwards. Leeds need a change of something or at least a re-boot on their second half of league season form if 2015 isn't going to turn into a struggle for the eight let alone four.

Would like to see the SL table from the Tragic Weekend onwards.

I knew Leeds would be perched low down on that table but 13th (second last) is quite a shock, even if it does concern a club renowned for deliberately tossing it off during the regular season.

Definitely not laughing at Leeds over here. I think The Challenge Cup would do nicely for me. All of the clubs left in the competition will be heaving a huge sigh of relief that Leeds are out.

I had a feeling that Catalans could do some damage if they could keep their discipline in check and get some luck which they seemed to do. I fancy them at Huddersfield if Brough isn't fit. And if Saints pick them they wouldn't be the walkover most expect them to be.

It could be the story that Sky are looking for to justify the 8 team format. Though I'd worry about the attendance at Old Trafford if they do get there.

I wonder what people thought about them? Did you underestimate them?

I wouldn't say Leeds underestimated them. Leeds strategy is to toss it off during the regular season in order to benefit from an easier ride from 5th or 6th.

This strategy has worked well for them in the past. Enter play-offs in 'do just enough' mode against whipping boy SL rabble, where the team plays in intense mode for about 10 minutes out of the 80, and where Sinny strangles the game late on with kicks into touch and a drop goal if the scoreline happens to be a little too close for comfort.

That strategy appeared to be working again on Saturday until a series of poor decisions and errors which led to the decisive Catalan winner in the last minute of the game.

Leeds have gotten away with this strategy for several seasons now and some may argue they were long overdue a kick in the bollox to level things up a bit. There's still some way to go to balance that particular ledger IMO.

According to my calculations, since (and including) the Tragic Weekend, Leeds would have just avoided relegation by finishing 12th.

Shouldn't the title thread be "Laugh with Leeds" since they won one of the three major trophies on offer?Wigan major fail in WCC, Leeds CC winners in a 107 year prestigious competition.The winners of the carbunckle of a SL trophy yet to be decided.Wigan seem ready to fall flat on their faces on that one,the pressures on,even if they do lift it, then we all know that St Helens are the true champs don't we guys?

The sky cup is just a gimmick.
