[quote="G1":1x8x7ghm]Nice one Andy. You articulated a differing opinion given reasons and substance. There's really no place for the likes of you on Substandard.[/quote:1x8x7ghm]:7098.jpg

Nothing has worked or looked like working. We've missed a ridiculous amount of tackles, made a ridiculous amount of errors, conceded a ridiculous amount of penalties etc etc.

We have had some things go against us but the way we've approached chasing the game has been awful. Hopefully we can improve and beat Huddersfield and then the squad rotation and build up to peaking for the semis and final and play offs can begin

Last tackle plays from us have been poor, no kicking game really, look so disorganised in that department. Some of that is good harassing wire defence but still think we need to be better

The better team won tonight.
Take the loss with a pinch of salt, 3 defeats in 15 games is not something to be ashamed of!

As previously said we looked tired and they looked like they wanted it more.

McGuire & Kirke abysmal, Hardaker & Ablett aside, the rest not much better.

First half was appalling, the sort of Brian Mc regular season game we though we'd seen the last of. Only Hardaker and Leuluai come out of it with credit and Kylie played pretty short minutes. JP for once looked his age and more. Am sure his numbers will look ridiculous but first half in particular he was as ineffective as I've seen him. Wire played well and could have won by a lot more.

实事求是!:

Warrington played like their lives depended on it, they've not shown as much vigour, desire or agression all season.

It's not that leeds were bad they were just blown off the park by an immense warrington team, and once warrington got on top early on leeds could never get any control on the game and were fighting a losing battle against a rampant warrington.

I could tell after 10 minutes leeds were going to lose, because they were falling off tackles and warrington were getting quick play the balls, they just had no control over the situation. After the first few minutes the way warrington were winning small battles and creating chinks in the defence it was only a matter of time before they took the lead and once they did there was never going to be anyway back for leeds.

The pack is old and f*cking knackered. I've said it all season and people doggedly argue and twist things, knitting fog with average age figures and going on about how good peacock is.

The bottom line is Leeds rely mainly and leuluai and peacock as forwards to get them up the field. They are both 36 and do big minutes. The bench is far far too lightweight, no one adds any grunt off the bench and the backrowers are mainly wide runners. When it comes to the playoffs they'll be shown up like they were tonight and against wigan.

Pretty sure they said he made 50+ Tackles. Said kirke made 3. Agree with Barry macs interview soft in the forwards.

"The Golden Generation finally has its Golden Fleece! They have Wembley Cup Final winners medals to add to their collection." 23/08/2014:

We've been very poor tonight and Wire have been at probably their best showing for the whole year.

Two years ago that would be a 40+ drubbing! tonight we lost by 18. So whilst disappointed tonight, not at all down looking forward.

You can see how Wire celebrated Atkins try saving tackle on Briscoe near the end, the 3 teams who have beat us have had to put on massive displays and big efforts......in regular season games. Simply a case of Wire hitting form and us hitting a lull....nothing to worry about long term, although I reckon a few posts on SouthStander tonight will go rediciously knee jerky.

We rely on out starting props to get us forward? F**k I hope no other team try to do that otherwise they're doomed.

Singleton was on the bench and isn't "lightweight" but like most others tonight wasn't at the races. Stevie Ward, probably fine once he can physically grow and Sutcliffe looked dangerous at times. Kirke was poor but playing Mulhern/Baldwinson would've hardly changed things.

Peacock gets a pass for me. He still ran his blood to water and was still more effective than Kirke or Singleton despite not being as good as usual. Singleton, Ward, Clarkson all looked average tonight when all 3 had impressed last week. Shows the difference between playing against poor sides and good sides playing at a high intensity.

Robbie Ward also showed he isn't ready yet. I'd start him against Leigh but would be looking at other options against Hudds and their big pack the week after

We have been poor for the last 4 games now and loosing to a weakened wigan and saints team and being lucky to get a point at Huddersfield and well beaten tonight is a concern ! We badly need burrow and aiton back to speed things up and without putting blame on players kirke and clarkson should be no where near the 17 !

Thought Achurch looked to be making some good yardage running wide till he got injured
