He was hoping something could be sorted out this week.
If he has to go back to Huddersfield then that is fine as there`s a great bunch of lads there too".
So wisely keeping his options open.

I don't want to be disrespectful to the giants but he will never play in big final matches for them. If you consider the games he has played for us in one season it must be dream come true for him.
We should sign him ASAP he wants to play for us, I also think he can improve under Brian Macs coaching .

He still has 3 years on his Hudds contract - GH will never pay that sort of cash.

Expect to see McShane recalled for next year.

Don't think he will cost too much. He doesn't want to be at hudds, they cannot afford to have him sat in the stands and it wouldn't be good for team spirit.

A small undisclosed fee or mutual canceling his 3 yr contract wouldn't seem to be far from the mark

GH has been prepared to spend big in the past on a few occasions if a quality player becomes available. As much as I like Lunt I don't think GH would pay a big fee for him

I have always liked P Mcshane and think age and skill are on his side but for what ever reason the coach appears to have reservations. Lunt is a good hooker and if not PMc then after his performances of late he would suit me fine.

Tbh i will be surprised in all honesty if we don't sign lunt everything seems to point to him staying with us imo

He started on a flyer, kind of tailed off a bit then stepped it up a gear for the play-offs... a bit like the rest of the team.
