Surely Bentham won't get both Finals? His interpretation of the 'flat pass' from Wigan tonight was interesting AGAIN! I think they only got pulled for it near the end when Crystal Tips launched a 'Hail Mary Pass'. Terrible!

Agreed. 0% chance of that though. Bentham messed up CC final and Ganson has proven contentious during the play offs. But they are very unlikely to give it to someone who hasn't refereed for either of the past two weeks so those two are the candidates. Not ideal; perhaps Bentham is the better option - it's not Wigan for whom he appears to have developed an unhealthy affection and, who knows, somewhere in his tiny heart he might just subconciously feel slightly guilty for his Wembley incompetence and pass us one or two of the 50/50s Ganson failed to last night. |

Thaler had a poor game in the playoff vs. Hull. He was every bit as one-eyed for us as Ganson was for Wire.
Silverwood's been the best ref this season IMO but obviously he won't get it. Alibert has been ignored in post-season. Bentham had Wembley. Reckon it'll be Showbiz Steve.

Whoever it is lets just hope for a game where we are talking about the RL and what the players do because far too often nowadays we are discussing inconsistent and inept reffing displays.
