| Funny one really because whilst we have a lot of people questioning his weight etc, not one person has mentioned he was blowing for or looked unfit.
So maybe the problem is actually with motivation and what's in the top two inches and nothing to do with his body shape at all. Not saying that makes it any better but I think there is a bit of an obsession with his weight and it actually goes a bit deeper than that. Losing 3 stone isnt suddenly going to make him want to be bothered or make tackles. Ability is one thing, application is another as we all know.
Either way, with talk of a new half and Walker signing up it doesnt look like Tui will be around forever so let's see if another "business decision" is made come the end of the year...

| Losing 3 stone might help him get in the correct positions to make tackles and help his team mates not have to cover for him as well.

| When we have a much better defensive full back sat in the stands, why do we keep playing him at full back? Wonder what Golding has done to be so out of favour, that we play Tui out of position ahead of him.

| Quote chapylad="chapylad"If we had a decent half back pairing we would be so much better.
The forwards with the exception of Ferres and Singleton were not too bad.
The backs did what they had to do apart from Lolohea.
Sutcliffe like most have said is not a half back and Myler gets worse every game.
Like someone has said he is probably the worse number 7 Leeds have had and I would go as far as saying he is the worse scrum half in SL right now.
If we continue with Sutcliffe and Myler in the halves we will be firm favourites for relegation.'"
Myler the worst Leeds number 7 ever? My memory isn't what it was but I can remember Patrick Entat, David Hulme (past his best when he came to Leeds), Paddy Handley, Gavin Brown.......

I'll throw in an Andy Gascoigne into that mix.

Probably should have said in the SL era unless any of those mentioned played then that is.
Memory just as bad I`m afraid.

I think pound for pound he probably could be one of the worst. Myler will be on top money and those duds mentioned were either kids coming through or projects.

The rather scary thought is that based on the last international game played, RM is the incumbent England Scrum Half

True, that is worrying from an England perspective.

Jeez forgot about that, very scary indeed.
He doesn`t appear to play with any desire and is rarely seen shouting at the players to get them in to position let alone able to pull the strings.

| Myler has been disappointing this year, but I thought he did okay against Wakefield, and has been one of our better players recently. His kicking game actually suited the conditions. I don't understand why he is being singled out for criticism in a strong all round team performance. Sure, Leeds need better half-backs but we should get behind the incumbents in the shirt when they're putting the effort in.
Lolohea I get being criticised, who made too many mistakes and looked very uncomfortable under high kicks. In his case, he has shown us glimpses of skill but seems to be down on confidence, and condition. Walker is unquestionably our #1 full-back and I agree that Golding probably wouldn't have scored that try... But if Lolohea could sort out some of his demons he could yet prove to be a useful addition. Otherwise, it's going to be tricky to get him out of the contract he's been handed.

He's played without a stand off for his entire Leeds career behind a pack getting mullered on a near weekly basis.
