| Quote: Gotcha "Where would we be without Parcell and Cuthbertson? Seriously take them out and would we actually beat anyone? Parcell was unbelievable last night, and Cuthbertsons second later spell really took Saints apart. Yes we got a fair few lucky decisions with Thaler, but on the back of Parcell and Cuthbertson we really took the game well in that last 30 minutes.'"
Best prop and hooker in super league, both must be mos contenders. And shoe in for dream team

Wigan have got back into contention but that's a tough finish for them and don't think they'll make it. Salford are really struggling and have to hope a week off and a winnable home game vs Wakey can kick start a push.
Wakey themselves should finish their chances, the Salford fixture next up is very winnable for them too and then they crucially play Saints at home, win that one and great chance they can make the four. How Hull perform post Wembley is key to how things pan out.

A lot of people think that that has something to do with the TV coverage actually providing aq better experience than going to a live game (they dont have very good atmospheres at NRL games)
I recon they should introduce that rule they have in the NFL that the games wont be shown on TV unless a certain % of the stadium is sold out.

| Don't know if it has been mentioned elsewhere but a great gesture from Tommy Makinson and Lomax last night. After the final whistle they walked the length of the south stand applauding the Leeds fans on their way to the Saints supporters. That after losing such an important game by such a close margin. Well done.

| Quote: Juan Cornetto "Even as a centre he disappoints he just does not seem to see overlaps and players in space. He shows traits of Andy Hay syndrome...you know he is going to dummy and go on almost every occassion!'"
Yet the try he laid on a plate for Hall was absolute quality centre play. IIRC Walker had a telling hand initially and Sutcliffe did the rest.
Replace Walker and Sutcliffe with Golding and Moon fir that one and Hall probably doesn't see the ball in space or possibly doesn't see the ball at all.

| I did notice that the lap of honour at the end of the game had a large number of missing first team players.
No Walker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, MacGuire, Burrow, Sutcliffe, Ward.

Nearly all of those you mention can be seen in these pictures doing the lap of honour signing autographs.

Every player was there last night, including players that are on loan at Bradford.

Wouldnt say shoe in , but I agree Parcell has been your standout player this year.As a running hooker he has been head and shoulders above Roby , Clark etc. But Houghton and Mcshane are different types of hooker. They are a third pivot who both excel with their kicking games and tackling rather than scooting from dummy half and cresting space. Cuthbertson hasnt been anywhere near Watts , Millington etc as best prop either. Parcell might get in just ahead of Mcshane but Cuthbertson no chance.

What a suprising opinion from a Cas fan
McShane is known for his tackling, but has made 130 less tackles, and missed 9 more than Parcell?
As for Cuthbo being nowhere near Millington etc - the guy is top 10 in the league for number of tackles, 2nd for number of carries, 3rd for most metres in the league, has 11 tries (as many as Hardaker), averages more metres per carry than Big Jesse, and has made 112 offloads so far with the 2nd nearest player still on 70. Nowhere near? OK pal.

| Parcel and Cuthbertson should be shoe ins. The only hooker to rival Parcel this season has been Roby. The rest can't hold a candle to him. McShane? Meh.
As for Cuthbertson not being anywhere near as good as Millington and Watts, that's laughable, both are charity shop versions of Cuthbertson.

Walker came past us, one of the last. The others went the western terrace route and straight up the tunnel, Singleton and Galloway went that route too but carried on.
Talking of Galloway, that distance with his injury looked a struggle.

Typical reply to anything said against McDermott.
I thought it interesting that Parcell and McDermott didn't even look at each other after Parcell was awarded the MOM. There certainly seem to be enough rumblings from the players to indicate all isn't blissful behind the scenes

Oh no, they didn't look at each other a certain way!!!! SACK HIM NOW!!!! Wasn't Cuthbertson on the naughty step last week and talk of how he's falling out with the coach and might effect his performance..,,,yet he was great and scored a crucial try.
