A disappointing lack lustre display, running out from the play the ball area was slow and predictable. Whilst we persist with the present combination we will struggle against decent sides. Wouldn’t have briscoe in the team never mind in the position. Why agar thinks a bog standard winger will succeed as a is bizarre. At the moment I can’t see what Sean Long bring to the team.

I think the reason so many are unhappy is because the same kinds of issues keep coming up.

If GH/ Agar can't get the players of quality we need or motivate/ keep discipline/ play to a plan/ etc etc then changes need to happen and happen soon.

Funny isn`t it as Mat Smith gave his player ratings for Leeds Live and he picked Briscoe and Sutcliffe as our best performers with both getting 7/10.
Our half backs imo were not very good and Walker again stiffled any attack we had.
The pack was outplayed by Catalans second string pack and Mik played far too many minutes.
Both our hookers put together were totally outshone by McIllouram.
Wakefield is already becoming a must win next week I feel.

I think the problem is that as a pair Briscoe and Sutcliffe are uninspiring. However, they are not a pair. They are individuals working different sides of the pitch. I don't actually have much problem with Sutcliffe. He offers some strike and made a few decent breaks on Thursday. Briscoe on the other hand is terrible. Offer little threat. Not fast, not busting tackles, no hands. Just filling a shirt. A workmanlike player can do a job in the pack, but you need your three-quarters to make some impact
