The Bentley one, no problem with the decision, Bentleys an idiot, he'd lost his cool a couple of tackles earlier when he'd steamed across the pitch into a tackle he didnt need to and left our right side defense really low on numbers, Warrington attacked where he should of been, resulting in him chasing back across and getting sent off. I fear that anyone thinking he'l learn could be in for a long wait, his dicipline in the second half of last season and now today, has been absolutely atrocious. Hope im wrong and he suddenly sorts it out.

Other than that call, i thought Kendall was rubbish, how the head shot that knocked fusitua out was missed, or ignored, il never know. Red all day long in todays game.

Yes that dangerous tackle stood out to me. It was clear from one angle but I suspect not from the referee's perspective. Definite penalty though had it been seen, possibly not a card as I don't think there was lifting although I've not seen a replay, just that still.

Never rated James Bentley, flaming liability, no wonder Saints wanted to offload him onto someone else, won't be the last game he's sent off in either! Hope Agar gives him a broadside!

Agar's not blameless. How many needless headshots and late tackles have we seen disrupt our plans? A coach of the standard he aspires to be would knock this on the head, if you'll pardon the pun.

Briscoe should hold his centre spot ahead of sutcliffe when newman returns on today's performance.

I see what you mean Seth, but Briscoe is no centre, he can’t pass and gets his defensive reads all wrong, like for their try where he showed the kid too much outside and then got stood up.

I hope that throughout the course of the season we develop into a Centre pairing of Newman and Broadbent.

We was unlucky with injuries today which badly impacted our interchange and took quite a bit of energy out of us late on i thought.

But what also cost us was our discipline. As i said earlier in the week we have to start learning or bins and bans will keep hurting us. Kendall got the red spot on in my opinion
Players safety and protection is paramount. If an opposing player hit a Leeds player like that i would want him dismissed. Bentley will get a decent ban i would think.

We dominated for long periods the effort was incredible. We need Newman fit asap to give us some pace and be good to see Austin there to help Sezer.

We are a decent team, theres a lot to like but theres a lot to sort also.

Yeah I'd agree there though I'd suggest the same of sutcliffe re passing with the added down side that he doesnt look for enough work/less effective carrying the ball. As you say, hope broadbent uses his non selection as real motivation and he can work his way in.

I do agree about our discipline but we’re going to see a lot of cards this year.

Having watched it back Currie hits Fuzzy’s head with his shoulder, at least a penalty.

No issues with Bentleys red it was a lot worse thsn i thought at the ground.

How did the touchy miss that hand in touch from Wire, we were fully on top at that point

Yep. If Broadbent can add a bit of oomph to his defense he has more class as a centre than Briscoe and Sutty put together. Hopefully just a matter of time.

Didn't think either centre threatened much in attack. Rhys Martin - who I thought had a decent game - looked as likely as anyone to break the line out wide. A fit Newman would be a very welcome returnee.

A lot of stuff missed today. Touch judges rarely intervene any more.
