| Leeds need to get over the dellusion that they can get backrowers to carry some front row responsibility and be interchangeable. The game wont change you need big bodies. No go forward in edges or middles

| Conditions were terrible in the second half and he was playing out of position but Mellor looks like a penalty machine. Gale Didn’t do a lot for me tough having missed two years but he needs to up his game if we are going to avoid a very tough season

Sinfield isn’t under pressure either, this is a 3-5 year rebuild due to the complete turd of a team he inherited, the length of their contracts, the age of the promising kids and the players available.'"
I agree with most of that but Agar needs to show hes progressing the squad this year. Hes most definitely under pressure. We are the 8 times champions. It comes with the job. We must improve on last year.

I think you're wrong but time will tell.

Thought the heavy pitch suited their big men in the middle.

Agreed.
I know it's almost impossible but we just haven't replaced the work JP got through in the middle of the park he was such a corner stone and reliable for big minutes even when surrounded by inferior players and indeed carried a few.
I liked what i saw of Prior. Oledzki has to step up this year he has done his apprenticeship now hopefully he doesn't stagnate like Singleton did as there so much potential. We really lack a metre muncher still though and still look a bit soft up front; packs like this Hull one today will always get over us.

| Think ill give this forum a miss this week for the sake of my sanity.
Fwiw we were dire but we got absolutely battered by a huge Hull FC team, they will do that to some very good teams this year its just a question of whether they can be consistent, if they aren’t there will be as many Radford out posts as Agar out posts on here.
There were some positives, Prior went well but needs to watch his tackling technique, Mellor looked handy out of position, Smith looked good and Gale does improve the side.

Hull are huge across the park bar Sneyd and Shaul

Look grand final quality Hull. But let's see. We have serious work to do on and off the field

Agree with every word. Perhaps I’m less fussed about this loss than some previous ones because of the emotional impact of what’s happened with Rob. There’s more to life than winning or losing a game of rugby.
There will always be next week...

| Cam Smith and Prior our best 2 for me. Thought Martin was really poor. Suttcliffe is just a nothing player, Newman back to and L Briscoe to wing and for christ sake...Two props on the bench, every game, no exceptions.

| Even if we don’t, which I’m sure we will, then it’s not the end of the world. For at least a year Leeds would take huge crowds to grounds that rarely see them and all the Championship clubs would benefit massively from a financial perspective.
Would it be disappointing, certainly. Would it be terminal, no.
