I think the Lolohea deal was the end actually. McD most certainly didnt approve that signing, quite the opposite from what I've heard.

He is correct on the halves but only slightly, yes the halves need addressing but think back to last year, we were all calling out for a better pack, and we did need a replacement for a player that made a lot of metres consistently as Hall was leaving. Tui was signed before Sinfield or Furner arrived so they were stuck with a new half back they may not have wanted, they did then sign a young half back who could turn out good (may not aswell it was a gamble)

I’m really not sure what some people were expecting and I think they’re living in cloud cuckoo land if they thought new manatand coach could come in and fully change the makeup of the team in the first year.

There was an agent on the full eighty minutes a while ago who said he'd verbally agreed with Mcdermott that we would sign Krasniqui (sp). Agent said he txt Mcdermott the next day saying that the player was happy and the agent would contact GH to sort out the contract, he said Mcdermott went mad for him mentioning contcting GH and pulled the plug on the whole deal.

Suggests Mcdermott was very much involved with recruitment.

I don't understand why Lolohea hasn't been given an ultimatum on fitness. You can't fix his ticker or skills quickly, but you sure as hell can get a full time pro fit - or if not fire him. Its as basic as wanting an office job without being able to read.

I said before he played a game for us that he is a lard a**s,so unfit and nothing has changed.His he even worse than Ben Walker?,which takes some doing.
