I don't know what's more terrifying.

The players all doing everything they can and getting tonked by 50 every week.

Or the players not putting in 100% and letting us languish at the bottom.

Either way we are f*cked. totally f*cked.

They're grown men. They should be doing that off their own backs. The main part of a coaches job is to identify weaknesses in the opposition and make plans to exploit it. But if the players don't have the work ethic that's on them, BM can't do anything after they step onto the field. Blaming a coach for that on the pitch tonight is a weak argument. Maybe one could be made for his team selection though, surely you have someone in the academy who'd put in more effort than Galloway does?

He can certainly do something at half time though, think he has made a good impact he last 2 weeks?

The coaches job is to make sure the players individually and collectively play well. Leeds have played terrible all season. Mcdermott takes responsibility. If I was a manager and my team were performing abysmally i could hardly turn round to my boss and say ''not my fault sir, they should be performing well off their own backs''.

''Oh great, if they should be doing it off their own backs we don't need you, you're fired''.

Your point about bringing others in i agree with, but Galloway is a poor example mate, he may not be a great import but in recent times has been one of the better players and certainly given effort that is unfair imo.

Also, McDermott sets up the team, how he wants them to play identifies things that need to change from week to week. With performances getting worse and nothing seemingly being addressed either A. the players have stopped listening to him and don't really care anymore in general or B. he doesn't have a clue what to do and with the players anymore who are so badly out of form he is being shown up for being a coach with no Plan B.Either way it ultimately has to lay at his door that we are rock bottom after 16 games with performances so bad opposition fans are ridiculing us, including the whipping boys for which we are now firmly a part of.

GH obviously hasnt got the balls to sort this situation out. Im just praying Caddick steps in and removes them both this week. Neither have showed any leadership qualities and both have to go to save the club form the financial meltdown the inevitable relegation with the current management will bring

GH has the balls he has shown that in the past - I don't agree with everything the club does but I couldn't think of a better person to be in charge of the club.

What he needs is more support through an injection of new blood in the rugby management of the club i.e. revised coaching structure, recruitment review and overhaul of youth development. That need external expertise IMO - a couple of people with fresh eyes and different experiences outside of the Leeds Rhinos. Maybe its time for a new conditioner, a director of rugby, head of youth development etc.

It's all very well to say get rid of McDermott, but who's available to replace him that might make a difference? In my opinion what you need is a boot camp style coach in the Craig Bellamy mould, but I can't think of anyone who's available who fits the description.

It is a fair point, but that is for GH to identify. If needs be though we get an interim in to guide us through the rest of this year, Mcdermott needs removing for his own sanity as well as the good of the dressing room, how many more of the torturous post match press conferences does he want to sit through? because its a hot Catalans next week, it doesn't get any easier.

From an outsiders perspective BM comes across as morose and negative. Your team needs some energy and for the players to play with no fear. It looks like nobody really wants to step up and make a name for themselves as like i said their is a fear of failure. It seems some of the "kids" are not up to the required standard and your signings have been VERY POOR. Still i reckon when you get Moon back in the team you will improve significantly.......what a player he is.

I'd go as far as to say we are now unequivocably the top of the table of whipping boy super league rabble. ...with no sign of any slowest of the slowest turnaround we are all hoping for. We are still inexorably heading (getting faster) onto the rocks of total disaster.

All of whom will be GH appointments. So he'd have to admit he got it wrong first time around, and he's way too stubborn for that.
