I would be questioning what happend in the other 4,799 moments that led to one costing us the game. If we lose today on a single moment there will have been some f*cking average performances in the Leeds team.

I agree. Garbutt has impressed hugely since slotting seamlessly into the pack and playing his given role. Singleton scored his customary regular try and Cuthbertson seems to be operating more as a stand off these days. Delaney, Ward and Ablett did tons of 'dirty work' ..... Sinfield and Peacock are certainly going out on a high! Superb !! Achurch looked dangerous running out wide where he is clearly at his most effective. Kylie too ran it in hard.

Wardy was immense. And those that slated Briscoe at end of last year, I hope your hanging your heads in shame. He is world class that lad.

The signing of Garbutt just proves that you can have all the flair in the world, but there's no substitute for good old fashioned size, and physicality. He's Kylie with a better engine.

3 of those 5 tries took some scoring as well. The first one, granted from a HKR viewpoint some of those grabs at Briscoe were pitiful but he still had plenty to do when he got the ball.

The 2nd one (the 90m try) he did very well to finish. Sio is a big lad and I thought he might be able to tackle him and they slide out of touch with the slick ground but Briscoe braces himself great and doesn't end up being moved sideways at all on contact.

The 5th one is my favourite, he just dances through the defence.

I was really happy he did well. Some great trys and hard graft too

Well played every mistake was punished you were ruthless we have giving you some good games over the last few years but yesterday wasn't one of them hope you go on to win the grand final and hope JP can instill a winning mentality into us next season

Watkins perhaps unlucky not to get any votes but their could only ever be one winner when you score 5 tries in a final.

Briscoe's final try reminded me of John Atkisnon's in 1978 on the opposite flank.

I'm surprised Peacock got so few Lance Todd votes. I know you have no option but to give it to a lad who scores 5 tries but Peacock was the best player on that pitch, IMO.

Watkins was also very good, setting up a number of tries.

A bit belated but well done yesterday, I can only imagine how good you feel. Got the train back to Leeds after the match and all those I met were good people. We all say we hate Leeds but.......Secretly. Haha Seriously Congratulations

Think Rovers deserve some credit too. I think some teams would have displayed a fair degree of grubbiness under similar circumstances. Good luck in the 8s, not that you'll need it.

Think what probably cost Watkins votes for the Lance Todd was that he played his best stuff when the game was effectively over and Rovers were running on empty. Wasn't quite as impressive in the first 50 minutes as he was in the last 30.

I did get paid out on this. £195 paid quite nicely for the tickets.
