Oh you lot have no sense of taste at all, so I’m going to give you all a little bit of education on where to get nice food, starting with my neck of the woods then working my way onto your neck of the woods and then central Leeds.

I shall start with the offerings that are at the end of my street -

If you want the best sandwiches in the world then you’ve come to the right place. The Sandwich Bar is a local favourite because I’ve seen tinfoil roaming across the estate and its only this food outlet that wraps your sandwiches in the stuff. You don’t see wrappings roaming about from the other two sandwich shops nearby meaning people don’t really bother with the other two.

The customer service is so good in here I get a butterfly bun every year on my birthday for free

Another food outlet at the end of the road from where I am, only this one doesn’t do sandwiches. It does you the best rice and noodles in the area. Be sure to get a meal deal so you can dip spring rolls into ok sauce. There’s another Wok up Pudsey and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this place become a big franchise in the next ten years.

This is the only place I’d have a pizza takeaway from in the local area. When I used to order here a lot I’d say hello and they’d put the phone down straight away because they knew what I wanted. Whilst the outside of the building looks like Rodley, I can promise you inside you’ll be introduced to one of the finest takeaway décors in Leeds

When I’m up Pudsey to collect my dole this is the only place that I truce when it comes to ham sandwiches. The ham is proper thick and the bread is home mad. Inside this gem of a place your transported back to the 1940s which is always great. The place always reminds me of the Victoria woods sketch two soups for some reason..

I’d also trust this other sandwich shop that I haven’t tried yet!

This place makes me feel all nostalgic because I remember not eating in the school canteen once whilst at Pudsey Grangefield. In the end nearly everyone started going to this place meaning I’d have to come up with some excuse on why I need to leave early for lunch.

Its between Watherby Whaler and Royal Park Fisheries on which is the best chippy in Leeds..

Young Tom informs me that Royal Park is better than Wetherby Whaler, Damo!

Its been a while since I’ve ate from either of them so I’ll take his word for it for now. However I will sample both of them once again before the year draws out
