I think he realised his mistake and quickly started talking about them, a few others noticed aswell.
I don't think Cadle and Van Pelt realised because they are both daft so they couldn't correct him, come back Nick Halling all is forgiven
Cadle, Reynolds and Cecil Martin will no doubt just keep talking about how excited they are to be at the SB on Sunday rather than talk about the game, lucky barstewards.

Anybody but Halling. SKY should throw alot of money at Gary Imlach, best person for the NFL in this country EVER.

If you're talking "money no object" Sky should be looking to lure one of the ex-pros currently working for NFL Network. Guys like Brian Baldinger, Heath Evans, Solomon Wilcots etc have the broadcast ability and in-depth knowledge of the game to handle being the colour guy on their own.
You could then shift Reynolds across to replace Kevin "and the score in our ballgame is.." Cadle and have a Brit with NFL experience (someone like say Scott McCready) take his seat.

| My (realistically achievable) dream team would be Imlach presenting and Mike Carlson as analyst plus guests who've played (and Bradlee Van Pelt did not play a down in the NFL so he doesn't count. Plus he's weird looking).
I can't stand the British "experts" like Reynolds and Halling. Maybe it's a jealousy thing, they just remind me of an English fan of the game like myself but far less knowledgeable and I think, "Gizza Job, I can do that".

| I do like to see to the guests ex players like Cecil ,Shaun Gayle ,et al and in fairness i preffered Halling much more than the plank at the moment a season of watching that stuttering idiot isn't good for a novice like myself easier and to ask posters like Harrigan ,Gilder ,G and Lfcpat for their inputs and thoughts.

| I like Shaun Gayle aswell but he doesn't seem to have been on for a while(unless I missed him?), my favourite is Jeff Reinbold but he is obviously busy most of the year with his college coaching commitments.
I think Zack Follett is quite good too but I think the main problem with sky is Cadle, you would think after so long doing the job he would have learnt more about the NFL but he just asks the same old questions and talks the same old crap year after year. The guests can only answer his questions and don't really get much time to do anything else so they are never going to come across that well when they don't get chance I suppose.
The less said about Neil Reynolds the better!

| Cadle lucked into that job when Sky ditched their coverage of British basketball IIRC - he was American and already on the payroll, so he was the cheap option to front their NFL coverage.
This year, it will be the BBC Superbowl coverage for me thanks. Fronted by Mark Chapman, with Mike Carlson and Danny Amendola of the Rams, taking the Michaels/Collinsworth commentary. No adverts, in HD. I can't think of a single reason to watch the Sky version.

Why? He must be the worst analyst/expert I have ever seen, aside from Johnny Mitchell who looked as though he was under extreme duress from a rigorous interrogation while on Sky.
The Kevin Harlan/Boomer Esiason combo on Westwood One is preferable to any of the announce teams calling the action on TV. Always enjoy Mike Carlson although there is the danger of the BBC 'dumbing down' football.

| That's the exact reason I don't watch the BBC coverage, I'm happy for new fans to watch and learn the game but I CBA listening to it personally. I'v done my time so to speak....
I'm always learning when I watch games but the BBC can't teach me anything so I will pass , I explain stuff that my old man/mates ask when they're watching quicker than the 'experts' anyway. They just end up repeating me

Good luck on Sunday LFC the Pats aren't my overall favourite team but they are there on merit and i always enjoy the SB.

| It will be interesting to see if the Giants can get the Patriots to bite on that deep post/backside square in play action with has served them so well of late.

| Yes it is. I have a slight lean to the Giants, especially as 3 point dogs.

| Unlucky LFC even with nothing left on the clock i thought TB would get the game with his final "Hail Mary" into the endzone.
Much closer game than i thought especially with the options the Giants had in O.
Roll on next year when the Saints and Packers come back with a vengence and G can get his hopes up for a Skins Wildcard!!

| Routine. Zero passes over twenty yards for Brady. Boring, boring offence from the patriots.
