Same. He was the best 9 we've had for a few years imo. We didn't do our job getting the best out of him. 

Leeming seemed better at 7 than 9 for Leeds and had issues with his defence and distribution. And he obviously looks good with a better side around him. That said, I would have preferred to keep him at Leeds.


Not sure if Leeming is better than Ackers. Leeds version of Leeming on a good day is probably better than the Leeds version of Ackers. But I think Ackers is the more complete 9 - such a shame he hasn't really clicked at Leeds yet. Perhaps it is too soon to write him off, and that he will be better when (if!) the team settles to the way Arthur wants them to play.

yeah i think Ackers and Croft need more time yet.. and they need a much better pack to play with. 

Not sure we'll go with 5 props in the 17.
And Lisone should miss out.

Really don't fancy us at all in this one but you never know. Crowd need to be on form to give the lads a boost thats for sure. Think Wigan may win by 16+ though... hope i'm massively wrong.  

BAs interview suggests croft and frawley will be 6 and 7 O'Connor at 9. Sounded coy over where that leaves Connor

If that's the case I'd be staggered. I get BA likes Frawley, and his defence is decent, but surely Connor at 7, Frawley at 9 with JOC as replacement is the way to go. Connor at 7 has been one of the few bright spots so far this season. We're not blessed with creativity, Connor gives us that. Plus he kicks. 

There is that, yes. Though still think Connor offers more at 7 than Frawley ever could. 

If that`s the case it is very poor judgement from Arthur and doesn`t send the right message imo.
Connor has over the last few games been more or less our best player and the only one with the skills to unlock a defence.
Frawley on the other hand has been average at times and woeful with his kicking game similar to the season before.
If he goes on to select Lisone as well then I really do not know what to make of his intentions especially as he has been very vociferous in saying those who perform will be selected.
 

Honestly have no idea how Frawley gets in. His kicking game is atrocious. 

I thought he might be much better this year but nothing showing that way yet.., complete waste of a quota spot as it stands.
