Luke Briscoe isn't SL standard so we need another "superstar" to replace Hall

How much class do you think we can get in one season i don't think we will get a replacement for Hall and with The class we will have in centres i think Both Briscoes will look good and possibly look better than they are. we need to improve our front row and second row with abit of quality now and well be back competing i hope.

Always like to have a trawl of the other teams boards when we make a signing of this magnitude, just to be nosey and see what the general opinion out there is. Lots of complimentary noises, on the player himself and the club's ambition.

Then there's the saints fans....'a poor man's Francis meli' and 'Interesting to see how it works out as his GF dont like cold weather' ‘more entertaining off the pitch, the next Gelling’ are 3 belters on there.

disagree, he looked good when he played last this season, hard player to tackle, needs to work on defensive issues, but should be good next year after full offs season, showed enough this season to give him a full year at the club, judge him after that.

Luke briscoe is ok. He works hard but looks a bit small and light to me.

In an ideal world we would replace him but as others have said, it's not a priority at this point. Handley also offers another option and perhaps even Golding so overall we are ok in that department.

Good start but we need a tough prop and a hard running back row.
With Ward being as injury prone as JJB was and Ferres seemingly always unfit isn't helped by the age of Ablett&JJB.

No use having good centres and half back if the pack is smashed every week

When I was at HQ today renewing my season ticket and saw Gary Hetherington. I shouted 'Good signing, Gary!'. He gave me a thumbs up.

What further guarantee of quality do you need??

I think he has looked OK too seems to be a fairly strong runner an has a bit of speed, I’m not overly worried about spending big for a winger we have bigger problems ti tackle before that IMO I’m happy to give Brisco s chance for next year

Fair point though I must admit, I'm looking forward to watching a side that offers a threat through both centres. Seems to be something we see less and less in the British game but when I cast my mind back to sides I've enjoyed watching most - not just talking Leeds here - they've always been strong in this regard.
