Brown will be fine for this race, provided somebody else has got the boot before August. He's a great coach for the first half of the season.
I'm not sure Betts looked out of his depth. His squad was basically a Championship squad with a couple of ageing or otherwise unwanted Aussies. I don't think he did too bad and they improved as the season went on. I'm not even sure this is the year to judge the Widnes project. See where they are in 2014. Not convinced anyone esle would be doing any better as things stand.

Millward and Anderson look the best candidates, but some other clubs having an unexpected bad start could change that.
