Agreed, Smith doesn't look interested and Hood has had no control of the game at all. To be fair McGuire and Webb are key players for us, but that doesn't excuse the missed tackles.

Without a doubt nobody has played as poor as Lee Smith and that takes some doing on this performance.

I know it's harsh but i think the reason players like smith and mcshane get singled out is because they are battling for a place in the team so when they are drafted in you'd expect them to be at it.

To put the result into some kind of perspective, I don't honestly think that any team, other than possibly Warrington, could have lived with Saints this evening. Rather you than us playing them, after the last few weeks that they have endured.

It's a long old season and maybe a few of the my fellow Hull fans may need to be reminded of that, instead of getting too excited after only a few matches into the season.
