| I was one of the 'group', and I'd like to present our side.
Don't know BFBB and know he does get a bit rowdy. That said, when we were trying to get some support going for the lads (and god knows they needed it) we got some of the OP's lot telling us to 'sit down and shut the F up'. As you may understand, we didn't take too kindly to this, and gave some back, and this was what got on BFBB's moobs.
There's enough space at any ground for everyone to stand/sit where's best for them. But it's out of line to pick somewhere knowing you're near the fans (as opposed to supporters) and then complain they're even at the game.

Let me get this straight, other Leeds fans told your group to sit down and be quiet?
Firstly, you should be sat down, the Stoop is an all seater stadium. Secondly, I don't believe that Leeds fans would tell other Leeds fans to be quiet unless they were causing trouble through their behaviour, attitude or language. If Kev B (the Leeds steward) had to have a word then there is a problem. He's been doing the buses for years and knows what he's on about.

| BFBB was not stood with the friends he travelled down to London with .They were spread around the stadium with other friends that they met down there .
What is wrong with standing up at the back of an almost empty stadium even if it is all-seater ?
BFBB is very useful if you want to get a bit of atmosphere going . He ain't one to take his knitting with him and manufacture a cardigan while he is watching the game .Ok , his language might be a bit colourful , but he is very passionate and vocal about his team . He attends all home games , and probably more away games than a lot of people who come on here with an opinion of his behaviour at away games .
BFBB took his shirt off at Donny ? Dunno . I wasn't there . But I wouldn't be surprised if he did . He is a BFBB and proud of it . Have seen him many a time comparing bellies with oppo fans . Most memorable was at OT with a Saints fan . BFBB LOST . His wasn't as big. All good fun .
Regarding foul language at games . There are some very sensitive souls are there not . I would suggest to anyone that does not want to be subjected to having to listen to such language that they attend chess matches . Foul language occurs among the fans of just about every sport . It even happened at my kids sportsday . The offender was removed from the school premises . There are some places it is just not acceptable at all .
Should I have a word and ask him to tone it dwn a bit ? I might .
But I will only advise him to curb the language . NOT the noise .
BFBB just wouldn't be the same without the usual level of decibels .

This is why I'm not really that bothered whether I go to RL games anymore.

| I don't care about the noise or the odd swear word. But far too often it ends up being every other word rather than the odd expletive.
People going to a sporting event should expect the possibility of noise, they should expect an odd swear word during the course of a game. But they shouldn't have to sit there in front of a constant torrent of swearing.

| You will find that home clubs very rarely get informed about troublesome away fans and actually do anything about it.
Leeds couldnt ban anyone from attending an away match and the home club dont follow things thru.

This.
It's about knowing where boundaries are. We all dfo it every day. It's how normal social conduct works. Not by hard-and-fast rules, by an appreciation of when you cross the line into causing a problem for other people around you.

| Easily sorted. If this person is as obnoxious as claimed, then simply take his photo, attach it to your complaint with all the relevant info, and email it to Garry. Our CEO can then decide if this behaviour is acceptable within the game in the 21st Century.

| I'm fairly sure Sky Sports could provide enough quality pictures of this chap for GH over the last few years.
There was a game this season where I'm sure it was part of the group who often hang around with this guy who tried to skip the queue by going in through the concessions turnstile in the South Stand and then b[ii[/itched and moaned at the stewards for not letting them through and making them get in the proper queue.

If the folk he travels with and who choose to stand with him regard him as a noxious drunk then he's got something of a problem going on. No surprise that others regard him less favourably. Pity none of his "mates" seem to want to point this out to him, you'd have thought it's the least that could be done for someone who's not a bad lad underneath.

I remember that one . BFBB wasn't present when that happened .
It was a cup match . JR had forgotten to get our tickets , so we were having to pay on the gate but the cash turnstyles had run out of tickets . We didn't try to skip the queue . We merely moved across to the next one which was the only one with any tickets. Yes it was the concession one . I was asking why we couldn't just pay full price and enter the ground . I told them I wasn't bothered about a ticket . I just wanted to get in to watch the game . I wasn't the only one doing so either .
When we eventually got into the ground (late because of the incompetence of the ground staff ) they said we couldn't go up to our usual place in the SS because it was full . We did manage to get to where we wanted by following directions from other stewards . They sent us up the steps at the easterly side , and told us to walk down to pitchside and across to where we wanted to be . Why didn't they just let us go up the steps we went to in the first place ? Attendance that day was around 7k IIRC , and I don't think BFBB actually attended .

Without commenting on specific cases, if you're "not a bad lad" but turn into a complete tool when you've had a drink, there is a fairly obvious solution....

It's all part of the great British tradition of "eccentrics" and "characters".
Or as the medical community would probably put it, "addicted" and "mentally ill".

To be fair there are quite a lot of people who's attendance on matchdays are affected by work, holidays , and or , family comittments .
I am lucky . My working hours and proximity to the ground mean that it is over four years since I missed a home game . I have missed a few away games though .
PTBFBB .. I like it . A new name for him . He got a new one on the train down on Saturday .
We were talking to fellow passengers , and as we stopped at a station PTBFBB mentioned that some of his family were at a local caravan site . A bloke that wasn't in our group asked if they were at a big local traveller camp . I think you can guess what kind of abuse PTBFBG(TF?)B recieved for the rest of the day .
