Yeah agree mate, not said we need to rush, but ideally I'd like a couple coming over next 2 weeks in so they can have as much pre season with the team as possible, not always doable I appreciate, but yes no need to panic.

Right Back is obviously a massive priority now (isn't it always over last couple of years).. I believe they are looking at a 10 and the midfield now short with Gray going. Interesting to see if Wober comes back.. gives us left back cover and centre back cover. Depends on his attitude.

No way Summerville stays IMO. I'm also pretty certain Gnonto will leave too. But I'd be promising him Summerville's position on the left to try and get him to stay.

RB and defensive reinforcements should be the priority. I'd also be looking at a new 9. Although, I want Joseph be given the first chance in that position in pre season

Unless anyone comes in with silly silly money Summerville is likely to stay from what G Smyth is saying, same for Gnonto.

I think if we get offered 35m+ for Summerville, we'll take it. I'll be shocked if he's here by the time the season starts.

The thing is, we don't need the money now. We then need to consider can we replace his 20 goals and numerous assists... it's no good with the money in the bank if we can't replace him like for like and weaken the team.. any new signing is always a gamble.. need to be very careful.

I`m not so sure Summerville wants to stay as I think he thinks he could do better.
I`d rather take 40+ million for a player who wants to go than keep someone against his wishes.
It is only speculation on my part I know just a gut feeling I suppose.

Those goals and assists could be replaced from within. Gnonto and James both showing last season they can score and assist, but they were barely on the field at the same time. If they were the starting wingers they could potentially come up with those numbers together. Also get Piroe or another striker firing, and a few more goals from midfield.

I suppose if a team like PSG come in for him and he can increase his salary plus gets to play in Europe you wouldn`t blame him similar to Gray at Spurs.
Rumour that Meslier might leave yet and I`m not convinced we have a decent backup in our squad.
Rodak at Fulham would be a great acquisition.
I also think we need to get Roberts from Burnley.

Good. He stays then. He's worth in that region imo. Gray was, Olly Watkins was... Summerville 20 goals and champ player of the season at only 21... easily worth £30-40m.

I know there`s a few weeks to go yet.
I get the fact we need to ship out players we don`t need and I get it we need to establish if the likes of Gnonto, Summerville and Rutter are staying/leaving and that will determine who we go after.
But I do wish we could bring in one or two decent signings to calm the nerves.
We need to hit the ground running this year and hopefully have some idea what we are going to look like before the season kicks off and not towards the end of the window which almost seems the done thing.
