| Tetavano needs to go - that would free a overseas space and a chunk of cap. He wouldnt be missed either
Leeds have two hookers - one can't pass and one can't tackle - great stuff!!

| Quote Sir Kevin Sinfield="Sir Kevin Sinfield"I agree to an extent but we were playing without both our half backs, full back, 2nd choice full back and centres. I can accept our attack being poor and lacking structure under those circumstances when the effort and team spirit is clearly there, our attack still needs to improve for Friday.'"
We do look poor in attack but as you say there is only so much you can do without those players in key positions.
There's not a team in SL that wouldn't look clunky with all those out and especially losing your only senior halfback 10 minutes into the game.

| I'd be inclined to be persuaded christopher but we've clueless when we have had our 6 7 and 9. These last 2 seasons have shown no mark of an international half coaching the attack even accounting for injuries.

| Like Kevin Brown said in the studio yesterday, players missing will alter the quality of what your trying to achieve, but you should still be able to see the plan, Browns a pretty intelligent half in his day, he said he had no clue in what we'r trying to achieve with the ball.
Our attack is embarrassing, even taking into account players missing

I think we (or rather Long) got lucky when Walker got injured and Myler went to full back. It actually gave us something to attack with. Without Myler, (and Newman's individual brilliance) our attack is clueless regardless of who is playing.
I wonder how much time is spent with Dwyer learning how to pass too

| The structure should still be there even if the U23`s are drafted into the side.
The fact we have no attacking structure from our experienced halves and our U23`s says a lot about the coaching.
Leeds have for many years played off the cuff rugby so maybe the coaches coming to the club have adopted that same attitude.
Maybe Furner when he was appointed tried to change that philosophy and the likes of JJB and Sinfield didn`t like it.

Were not even playing off the cuff though with little passing or offloading.

| We're averaging 14 points per game this year. Even last year we averaged over 20. No surprise we're consistently losing - 14 points is simply not enough to win most games.
I agree Myler is the single biggest loss to the attack. He brought width to the game and gave the halfbacks someone to work with. Agar mentioned how they'd trained with him all pre-season, and given how we play without him it seems likely he would have been first choice ahead of Walker.
The cause is bigger than one player though - lack of power up front means we can't suck in defenders, horrible dummy half passing kills momentum, we lack someone to link with the threequarters, and then centres who have no power or speed or clue how to set up a winger means even if we do go wide we don't really threaten. All of that could be offset a lot if we played to a structure and everyone knew their role, but the whole thing just seems to have collapsed in a heap. We're showing more resolve in defence but unless we can score points we'll continue to lose far more than we win.

| While there has been a marked improvement in committment and effort the last couple of games hearing JJB our performance as "outstanding" should worry every Leeds fan.
Our attacking structure is non existent so what exactly is being coached as no evidence of any set plays or attacking movement. I know we are missing lots of players but what do we practise during the week.

| We seem to love to pass to Donaldson, O'Connor or Thompson on the 3rd or 4th tackles rather than attacking. Likewise, we love taking it in on the 5th rather than grubbering it into the in goal. In excuseable.

I think this is a fair point. We are completely devoid of players who can create second phase rugby. It’s another symptom of the type of player we’ve brought in, but I do think it’s a big issue both in terms of ability to score and just in terms of level of entertainment when it comes to the product on the field. Thinking back to when we’ve been successful or even just thinking about the teams that have been good to watch in recent years the offload has been part of that.
I know it’s not easy to find an Ali or a cuthbertson, but I struggle to name a single player in our squad that is a real offload threat. Maybe Smith?
