As a side note on Newman, thats 31 trys in 23 games this season. 17 in 12 for the 19s and 14 in 11 for fev. Quite some strike rate.

He was good defensively last night too. He always plays left centre in 19s and when he was in first team earlier in the season he played right centre which makes a difference.

He looked nervous at 1st team level but he has everything to become an outstanding player.

The try last night was sensational. Soon as he was put clear with full back to beat it was all over, just put burners on and took full back on outside. Superb. A really talented kid.

Agreed, should be a good quality final. Im really excited to see how a lot of these lads from both teams develop. Leeds have got some absolute top class talent that im convinced will be good first team players for us in future, the fact Wigan have had the beating of them so far shows how much top quality talent Wigan have aswel, good signs for the British game going forward.

Gone to nearly all 19s games home and away this season and can't go to the final. Gutted but suppose that's the way it is.
