If I was a Clark or Gale with aspirations of winning honours or silverware then the last close season would have convinced me to sign on the dotted line....looking at the rapid demise of the club now to rock bottom wooden spoonists with a real theat of relegation ....I'm no longer so sure.

Well to be honest I dont want any players who say they want to win trophies, but in actual fact want to play in a team where someone else wins it for them- look how well Sterlings done at man city, or indeed a few aussie imports did with us in the past

If a player like Gale or Clarke came I would expect them to want to make a difference, we have had plenty of player come who have been happy to ride along as someone else wins stuff for them and none were still with us last year hence the treble

At the end of the day your team have gone to the dogs. That team tonight was full of quality and should not be going down 52-18 regardless of the squad they came up against. You have enough senior players in the squad like JJB, Burrow and McGuire to have the mental toughness to hang in a game but you're playing so weak. Your team are speaking about training and morale actually being good during the week so Brian hasn't lost the dressing room. I honestly don't think it's his doing this fall from grace. You're just not working for each other like you were last year.

Getting a collection of individuals to work as a team is THE MAIN PART OF A COACH'S JOB.
