| Leeds better have that backline wrapped in cotton wool at training this week.
One injury away from Stevie Ward in the centres again...

Pointless playing Kirke, but he will play.
I'd like swap Ward starting loose and Bails for bench. Him and Singleton can offer a bit of beef from bench.

| I feel we need to try and go round this hudds. team tomorrow to get anything from this game.we have the strike in our three quarters to do it from anywhere so get it wide early,if we try and grind it out I see only one outcome.

| I hope Ward (R) is given the opportunity to play his natural game. He looked a lot better towards the end of the Leigh game when he was allowed to scoot around a bit more. If we get the ball to Moon and Watkins quickly, then the game will be in our favour. If we carry on our current trend of karting the ball up the middle, then we could be in for a long night!

| a good effort and could have nicked it at the death.
Not a great deal to complain about with so many front line players missing thought we stood up well.Sinfields kicking game was awful though, really shocking for a player of his standing and ability.

It was in the first half with his aerial kicks especially the out on full ones, had some good grubbers though (R.Ward had a good one also).
Oh to have had Hardaker at FB.

| Again, the lack of runners in attack cost us, not enough players in motion running at space, we missed Ablett massively I thought.
It was a tough game but booth teams executed poorly, but Hudds controlled the ruck better than us, although I thought they got away with a hell of a lot of messing around at the PTB, but we didn't do enough to earn a quick PTB.
Individually, Watkins, Bailey, Robbie Ward and JP were decent, but I fear for us while Hardaker is out if BJB doesn't improve dramatically, he was shocking in just about every area IMO. Not enough impact from the bench either I thought, I would've started Singleton and brought Kylie on off the bench, Kirke offered nothing which is par for the course to be fair.
All in all despite many predicting a drubbing we really should have won that game but yet again our failure to turn field position into points let us down.

| Quote of the day : Bill Arthur 'Here is Kirke now, a man mountain who always takes some stopping when he gets his hands on the ball'
On that performance i would be tempted to play Briscoe at full back and move BJB to wing.

Did actually knock Crabtree on his backside in a rare moment.
