Sad news. Really nice guy . Not spoke for a while but we always had a good chat and a laugh when we bumped into one another.

I had the pleasure to meet him briefly on a few occasions. A lovely, lovely bloke. RIP.

Very sad news, Geoff was a warm, witty and eloquent contributor to this board over many years. I got to know Geoff when he p.m'd me on here to ask if I was the guy living in his area with the Landy with the Rhinos sticker in the back window. We shared a few beers at games as well as the passion for Landys and the Rhinos and I confirm all of the glowing tributes on here. He was a true gent and the world is the poorer for his passing. Our condolences to Gill and his family.

I did not know him personally but even just "knowing" him on here and then realising he's now gone is something that engenders sadness. I too wish his family well

Incredibly sad news. Geoff was a lovely man who always took the time to have a chat at headingley whenever I saw him. He spoke sense and was a very respected poster. Hadn't seen him for a while but have very fond memories. Rip Geoff and sincere condolences to Gill X
