On a general point Leeds' mistake count was low overall and almost non-existent in the 2nd half before Jones-Bishop's fumbled kick on 77 minutes.

It might not be that flash but it's a platform to build a performance on.

Classic Bailey Challenge Cup, it's almost as if the object is not to score these days, although that one yesterday was no gimme obviously. A good quiz question might be when and where did Bailey score his solitary Challenge Cup try?

Watched the game back on BBC as well. Liked the Welsh tw-ats back handed compliment of TMFMISL. Ray French was commenting on how strong and well TMFMISL was playing, on the back of that Davies said something along the lines of 'yes Bailey's played well..........today'

I was thinking more about when he "runs" the ball up. It's like watching a continent drifting towards you.
I did see his effort to haul down Whiting (and yes, that was the first time I've seen Clarkson pass as well - pretty unusual for a loose forward?), but his pace on the turn seems to be where he expends the energy.
The pass from Burrow was challengeing (although not as challenging as one Buderus flung out on a 5th tackle on Hull's line when he came on for his second stint), but taking those makes the difference. I've not seen much of the boys this year but that short ball to Kylie always seems to end up in a turnover. I don't know why they keep running it.
