I agree mate,strange that howson has been given the armband alot in pre-season.
Hopefully kisnobo or marques will get it until naylor comes back because howson imo isn't a captain just like richardson wasn't. |

He's a centre half and did ok at grimsby by all accounts and has impressed whilst in training.
Indicates to me that at least 1 CH will be off hopefuly lubo becuase he's a lummox imo. |

It gets trotted out because it was bloody true, herr Lorimer confirming what we knew 5 years ago. As for the badge kissing bollax, fair do's on that one. Frankly i know where your coming from you have had a season ticket for donkeys years matey and i know your standing on the smithy issues but seriously i cant see the point in bagging a former idol just because he went to man u in a deal even Lorimer says he gave smithy NO choice on. |

| £10m for Delph is too good to turn down IMO, i dont want to lose him cos i dont think we'll spend any money on a replacement and he's our best midfielder but Master Bates will be laughing all the way to the bank by the end of the week, that's why he wont of played in the Burley game incase of picking up an injury.
I think he'd be better off going to a team like Villa or Everton because he wont get a chance at Man City IMO with all the players they're signing, and they will be high expectation on both him and City to perform week in week out and he's not ready for that. I think he'd be better off staying with Leeds for another year or two and then moving on but with City throwing all the money around i'm quite sure he'll gone before the season starts.  |
