And once the police have reached their conclusions will they concoct and fabricate statements as it's been alleged in two separate instances recently?

The police's conclusions are, frankly, irrelevant.

I've been away for a couple of weeks.
What strikes me is that, in the time I've been away, there still seems to have been very little, if any, corroboration of evidence beyond "Yeah, me too", "I always thought he was a bit odd" and "We all knew but didn't like to say".

If these cases do indeed run into the hundreds, surely we'd have seen corroborative evidence in the news by now?

Evidence would be nice but what sort of evidence could anybody provide for something that happened so long ago in a small locked room with nobody else present? Having said that, has anybody seen that video of him on TOTP where he is clearly groping the girl next to him and she's desperately trying to get away while he grins at the camera?

If this happened in these days of smartphones and social media there would be photos, video and recorded conversations popping up all over Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc but in the 70's even a tape recoreder was suitcase sized and not exactly common.

I was sceptical at first but the sheer volume of complaints and reports now convinces me that it must be true, even his family believe it. Also there's a lot of talk on here about people seeking to cash in but so far I've heard nothing from anybody seeking compensation and when the question's been asked by interviewers the answer has been that any money would go to charity

If you noticed, even at the outset most of the statements from friends and family of his were voicing their concerns about the impact on his charitable interests, not protesting his innocence.

The freezing of assets by NatWest Bank today would indicate that some financial compensation is in the air, why else would solicitors get involved in such cases if there was no pot of gold to dip beaks into ?

Why for justice and the good of society of course.
