In the case of Golding there are those that were very critical of his abilities last year and were surprised he got the No1 shirt. Also some have given him grudging credit for his defensive displays this season and add criticism of his attacking capabilities. Therefore it is perfectly reasonable to mention age in this context. IMO Golding is perfectly capable now but will continue to be even better as he grows older.

In the case of our young props age again has to be a consideration regarding selection and judgement on their performance.
