It's arguable Pitts has been dropped for Clarkson but whether it's Clarkson or Kirke it's a baffling decision. Pitts has been very energetic and shown a high work rate in the last couple of games.
Not something Kirke ever brings to the table and something, offensively at least, that has been disappointing with Clarkson.
However, to decide not to go to a game on the basis of Pitts being dropped/rested is an OTT reaction fella. Not that I had any intention of ever going to the game mind. |

seriously though. its not that I'm a big fan of his. its that I'm a logical guy so try to understand what it is he must bring to the team to be a mainstay for 6 years and counting.

I thought he went ok last night, put in some strong runs, made effective tackles, got more game time, didn't let anybody down.
I think that Clarkson was a straight swap for Pitts on a like for like basis.
Squad rotation if you like.
The performance of both Kirke & Moore, when he came on, meant that for once BM did not have to bring back Peacock to shore up both our attack & defence.
This has to be good for next week against Saints unless of course I missed an injury to Peacock.
