I heard stories of several Bulls fans who pledged a dozen or so times each, just so they achieved enough pledges to ensure a cheap season ticket. |

There's more information on the first couple of pages of thios weeks League Express including a statement from Hood where he admits loans of £1.25 millon since 2009 from SLE, an overdraft of £240k, unpaid PAYE for 2 months and borrowing from the RFL of £700k which was repaid from the sale of the leasehold.
It's a dreadful mess and I'm not sure why anyone thinks it will be anything else going forward even if they reach their target of pledges.
I feel very sorry for players who are auctioning cherished memorabillia that they can never recover if the Bulls end up in Administration in any event.

Doesn't the franchising process include a close look at the accounts and balance sheets of potential franchisees? If not it clearly should if it does then the auditors/accountants need to be sued!
It would appear that Bradford Bulls have been so badly mismanaged that Super League standard full time professional rugby league at Odsal is no longer viable - both a disgrace and a shame for the players and fans of the club

Totally agree with you Tad, they have as of a few hours ago had pledges of less than 250K. Even if they reach the first 500k then the next 500k will be a even bigger task. Then if they reach that I think it will only delay the administration process until the end of the season.
Feel sorry for the players and most of all the fans. |
