Did he?

After Joel and Leaulai pushed Ablett ...right? And he didn't push him....JJB OWNED him icon_smile.gif

Quote: Mini Rogue "Read above, however McGuire knew it was already a penalty, didn't need to go in after it at all. Also the Leeds fans seem pretty happy with Abletts tackle after it, hardly sportsman like.'"

You are a classic numpty mate! McGuire does what any professional player would have done, he simply went to complete the tackle. Tomkins was fine and McGuire can and should not allow a player of Sam Tomkins ability to potentially get to his feet to continue play, which he clearly could have done the way he sprung to his feet and joined the handbags!

I've already accepted after re watching the video I was wrong regarding the incident. However it still stands that none of them including McGuire shown any concern for Sam Tomkins who potentially could have had his jaw broken with Abletts challenge. Would that be correct?

I know he gives away lots of needless penalties away and has a nice collection of yellow and red cards.

Player.

Why should they? Its rugby league not tiddly winks.

The chance they had to do that was taken away after Joel and Thomas attacked Ablett. Do you think consolidating Tomkins was top of the agenda at the time?

Including his own brother who was more concerned with a bit of biff.

Nobody got chance to be concerned for Tomkins "who was running towards the biff 5 seconds after McGuire left him" (watch the video) because Joel started the fight.

So regarding the 2 incidents, McGuire had completely fecked his knee and was down and out in obvious pain whilst Tomkins who nobody ever (despite what you say) stood over him was running towards the fight 5 seconds later, any other great examples?

Quote: Tony Soprano "But you said "[iBecause Ablett was stood over Sam in the same way that Riddell was stood over McGuire, is that not the same[/i?"

So did you just make that up or is that actually how the incident looks in your memory?

Why you are trying to blame anything on McGuire is beyond me, he completes the (very poor) tackle on Tomkins about 1.5 seconds after Ablett hit him, all he does is put his body weight on him, I doubt he could hear the whistle for the Wigan fans so his other option was to "not" play to the whistle and let Tomkins make extra yards.'"

I'm watching it back now, the ref blows the whistle and McGuire goes into the "illegal tackle". He's clearly heard the whistle as he looks back whilst still on top of Sam. Sam could be seriously injured for all he knows but McGuire gets straight up and goes into the fight! I'm sorry but McGuire and all of his Leeds players need to look at themselves before all the comments they've made this week. Just because Sam gets up a few seconds after it makes no difference. I'm not trying to put all the blame on McGuire in all this at all, but after all the comments regarding the Wigan players this week from Peacock he needs to look at his own players first.

icon_lol.gif You are funny... no really!

None of the Leeds players showed any concern for Tomkins??? Firstly, he was clearly not seriously hurt, I am sure if when McGuire went to complete the tackle he had sensed he was, he would have stopped and called the bench over... but he wasn't was he!!! Secondly, Lueluai and Joel were also so concerned about Tomkins as his TEAM MATE and BROTHER they waded into Ablett before checking on Sam! But it is Leeds players who are in the wrong for not showing concern for Sam????

I notice many of your fellow Wigan supporter are in agreement with you here... oh wait, no they aren't... even they know you are a numpty!

Probably because there is a page on our own site about Peacocks comments? And seeing as it's easier to agree with Wigan fans on the same thing, the issue makes it more interesting when Leeds fans don't agree, shock.

Something along the lines of the trapped Chille miners fits this situation.
