| On the question of JJB's tackle and Graham's reaction, irrespective of whether it was a 'Storm-esque' chicken-wing or just an attempt to turtle the player (I prefer to think it was the latter, but I'm a Leeds fan and so possessed of those blue and amber specs ), surely Saints fans would rather see him get up and crack someone or, at the very least, get 'stuck in'.
Whatever JJB and, indeed, any Leeds player may have done (no more or less than anyone else IMO), are Saints players really proud of their number who chase the ref, constantly whine and, in the case of Graham, appear to 'make a meal' of their injury to see a penalty etc.
I'd have some sympathy for Potter, but he isn't going to be taken seriously whilst his own players do that which he complains about (and as TVOC has pointed out, JJB ain't the first to face such an allegation......glasshouses etc etc).
Lets concentrate on a great game (Long's cheeky out of the hand move in the second half was class, see not that biased) and a great advert for the tv audience......oh and WE WON!!!!!

Some do, some don't. I don't. I'd rather see us play a cracking game of RL. Sure, most of us enjoy a bit of biff but neither your fans nor mine enjoy an illegal tackle on one of our extremely good players. Most of us think he should payback in ways other than fists as all that gets us is the sin bin (retaliation is usually punished more harshly than aggression). He has to lock down his reactions does Graham and so they leak out in other ways. But should we meet again before this year's war is ended, I'm sure he'll give his reply at some point in the match.
Our only real whiner is Wellens and we do all wish he'd shut up, frankly.
Whatever any of you may say to the contrary, Jammer did not play up his injury. He is genuinely injured and is going for a scan.

Writhing around squawking on the deck and then jumping up to carry on when he didn't get a penalty suggests otherwise though!!

Well, to silly fans from other clubs, yes. However, he was clearly in pain, as you would be if that kind of pressure was being applied to your shoulder, but the pain relieved when the pressure was stopped. Makes sense to me. If I decided to press hard on a joint it would hurt. Stop pressing, it stops hurting. I really don't see what there is to dispute here.

| just been watching the game back and one moment of dirty saints play that no one has mentioned, well saints fans will deny it happened. on 75 minutes when the fight between smith and gilmore kicks off JJB pulls Graham away from the fight and they move five meters away. Graham and JJB start to break away from one another then from the right hand corner Wilkin comes steaming and and slams into the back of JJB for no reason. again it looks to me like big hard wilkin does people from behind. classy guy

| i will add to the above JJB dragged graham away after graham swung a punch in a scuffle that had nothing to do with him although when Wilkin pushed JJB hard from behind JJB lurched forward into graham connecting head to head and Graham went down

| Cunningham had no complaints at the end. The better team won.
I don't think JJB did chicking wing intenstionally, it was a leeds tactic to do everything poss to get the player on their back -more so than normal.
Great game, good bit of biff. can't wait for the re match.
