Whats the point in having seats in the south stand? The club will only moan like Leeds United do at Elland road about people not sitting down and keeping stood up.

I can afford a seating season ticket, I choose to stand and would prefer to do so in future. Watching a game when seated is usually a deeply uncomfortable experience if you're over six foot. I'm not a chav, nor are friends of mine who take their kids in the SS.
Have a mix, seats, standing and corporate. I'd be interested to know what proportion of gate revenue comes from 'corporate boxes', seating, standing etc and whether us 'lumpen chavs of the SS' 'pay our way'?

Still quite important to some people.
Traditional to have a period of silence for recently deceased players...so what?
Tradition to shake hands after a game...so what?
To clap good play from the opposition....so what?
Traditionally, we haven't felt the need to segregate home and away supporters (sadly, a dying tradition)....so what?
I could go on, you get the point.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If people enjoy standing and can do so safely (and if those on lower incomes aren't priced out of the game with higher charges for seats), let them.

Winter rugby was traditional.
British RL teams in the M62 corridor was tradition.
Standing in football was tradition.

Not all traditions are worthwhile.
