| i'm not argueing about ganson,it was his chance to be star attraction again..
however how do we know he wasn't binned for dissent at the the Tj(again).
ganson let some far worse tackles go so i can't imagine it was for the tackle.

He deliberately slowed down a PTB from a poor tackle position when England were attacking near the Aussie line. That AND the cumulative back chat resulted in the yellow.
Last week you were chelping that Ganson was never fair to GB or England. I think there is a certain personal bias of your own involved here ( ), because most everyone else would not have been surprised Ganson yellow carded a player who had gobbed off at him all the game for a relatively minor offence.

Yes. I heard it on the recording when I got home from the match. Ganson was clear in his warning to Thurston, who was a pain in the backside and fully deserved his sin binning.

Thurston was Ganson's victim today.'" Agreed. I was a little embarrassed by the piggy backs Ganson gave us in the 2nd half.
The Sin Binning was ludicrous and evidence of Gansons' worst aspect of refereeing coming to the surface. "I don't like you and I will show you who is boss".

Same sh*t different year!'"
McGuire should be dropped, he was awful yesterday, but Sinfield was one of our best players, particularly when he was at hooker, so dunno what that guy was on about. Eastmond and Tomkins should be in the halves as they are the future for England, and was impressed with them both yesterday.
Whats the opinion of Leeds fans on Lee Smith? Do you think he should be in the team? Personally i dont think he should as he is not going to be in the team for the forseable future, and if T.Smith is building for the future it seems a bit stupid to include him in the team. Having said that our outside backs are so bad he doesnt really have too much choice in who he picks.

I don't think Shenton or Smith are up to international standard as centres but with Senior's retirement and Smith's problems with Gleeson then who are you going to select?

When TS says he's picking on form then i can see how L.Smith is selected.
However he then contradicted himself by saying he was looking to the "future" so by that he shouldn't be in.
We then have to look at who is the best available and that again points to smithy being picked so i guess it's divided opinion.

I wonder if Smith is regretting his descision in signing for Wasps? No doubt we will see him back in League in a few years.

Many got that impression mate after the GF!!
I personally would of loved to see him stay in RL and especially at leeds, but he chose to go to wasps and good luck to him but like you i wouldn't be surprised to see him back in SL in the near future.

| Only one team in SL in 2009 had two English qualified centres occupying the 3 and 4 squad numbers and one of those had retired from international selection and the other had signed for a rugby union outfit for the following three seasons.
Until the clubs can be forcible weened off their overseas addictment by the powers that be the 'local' International scene will struggle for enough options to challenge the might of Australia's production line in the NRL.
