The ground holds 48,000 so the RFL expect to fill and empty and fill again two more times on Saturday? What is the highest attendance for the first day of this weekend?

I went on Wednesday and was told they'd sold out. They took my name and number, then rang meon Thursday to say they'd got some more unreserved lower tickets in. I paid on the phone and got the tickets in the post on Friday. Might be worth another call Gareth.

I was being sarcastic.

Several on the VT last season (like SmokeyTA and Him) claimed I was deliberately undervaluing the attendances at the Tragic Weekend. They claim that if say 30,000 turn up on a Saturday for 4 games, that equates to an attendance of 4 x 30,000 = 120,000. If another 30,000 turn up on the Sunday for 3 games, that's 3 x 30,000 = 90,000 to produce a total attendance for the event of 210,000.

Last season, the attendance on the Saturday was 30,793 on the Saturday and 31,249 on the Sunday which I declared as a total attendance of 62,042 on the SL attendance thread. Smokey, Him and a few others claimed the attendance was (4 x 30,793) + (3 x 31,249) = 216,919

The highest first day (Saturday) attendance for this event is 32,384 in Cardiff 2007.

Cardiff 2007: 32,384 + 26,447 = 58,831
Cardiff 2008: 30,628 + 32,516 = 63,144
Edinburgh 2009: 29,627 + 30,122 = 59,749
Edinburgh 2010: 26,642 + 25,401 = 52,043

Wrong again William. I was saying that RL should use attendances in the same way as other sports, notably rugby union, with regard to double headers/multi-game events on the same day.

It was you who were saying RL should be different to other sports and deliberately under-value itself.

Looking for one of the cat 2 tickets (£30/£15). Am probably going to end of buying cat 3 this week so would be after a swap and obviously I'll pay the difference in ticket price.

I have two cat 3 adult reserved weekend tickets in the North Stand level 2. On offer for £35, PM me if interested.

I have a cat c (£20) reserved seat but really wanting to be in the lower tier with friends that are going. Is anyone attending on their own that would consider a swap + cash to cover the difference?

Just got mine today as was not going to attend but half price for season ticket holders its well worth it even just to watch us.

I just bought unreserved tix for the weekend from the London Broncos, no Saturday ones left. Huddersfield are sending some back to the RFL today which might be available tomorrow from the RFL.

Might go Sunday and use the ticket. Then again, might not.
