| Quote: Charlie Sheen "He's popular with his team mates where ever he plays, in fact I've heard him being shipped out of Cas didn't go down well with the rest of the Cas squad.'"
This is true, but more the way he was shipped out that doesn't sit well with the Cas squad - Millward told him he was s**t and that he had no future at the club in front of the rest of the squad.

| He's playing one of the toughest sports on the planet loz do you expect him to be all timid and shy?
He stood up for his team and imo plays the game tough and fair and is vastly under-rated.
Also away from the pitch one of the nicest blokes in RL who loves the sport and always has time for fans ,charities and media events.

| Can't honestly remember him being too bad when he was Leeds, seemed to have more aggression when he returned to SL with Wigan and got sent off twice in 1 season including trying to decapitate Matt King.

| He left Leeds in 2006 – didn’t really feature with Gold Coast Titans in 2007, released – joined Wigan in 2008, released – joined Warrington in 2009, released – joined Castleford in 2011, loaned to Wakefield for 2012.
There must be something that makes him unpalatable for so many coaches.

86.jpg Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.
But you’ve got to keep believing.:86.jpg |

The best coach in the league appears to have no problem with him and neither should Leeds fans as he was a star for us and in some ways it's a shame he ever left.
Gold Coast - basically injured throughout.
Wigan - never settled, always seemed unlikely to be a Noble-like player.
Wire - signed by Tony Smith, won two Challenge Cups with them. Moved on when they signed Hodgson but not under any cloud.
Cas - good first season, never given a chance by Ian Millward.

| I like richie he was one of my fav players when he broke into our side in 2004, he has never hit the heights he looked like he could have done early in his career, largely down to serious injuries, i agree he is just a very passionate and competitive player, hes not a dirty player at all
One of the biggest suprises last night was kylie blowing his top and swinging his fists, thats not kylie, is he a dirty player now?
In the words of stevo its play off football not tidly winks

| He cost you a few GLDs last night. He failed to act on a bouncing ball a few times.
As Ex- Swarcliffe Rhino said to me, he seemed to have an elastic bound round him and the goalpost.

| He's also one of the very few British backs to have had the guts to try the NRL. It didn't work for him - IMO he just never had the running game required to be a star fullback and perhaps should have looked at moving to stand off - but I'd never diss him for trying.

| I like the fact alot of people get wound up like a spring at just the thought of him.
His roll round on the floor with Sinfield was lovely.
He was also a bit of a sitting duck when he was on the edge of the in-goal area and we smashed by the 'wild dog off the leash' style of Ryan Bailey.

Wasn't there a flying ablett aimed at Mather as well.
It was a few weeks ago and mathers was involved in a scrap. It was on telly and taller was the ref. on the refs mike Richie said. "he hit me first, I power slammed him though" taller replied good for you.
Bit like fox and kylie scrapping. That was amusing

Kylie should hang his head a little, arms were going, but what connected?
Bit silly to get into that, imagine picking up a needless ban at this stage of the season.
Fox's face had 'GULP' written all over it.

| When Richie went to Gold Coast it was shortly after his mum had passed away. He's got 2 younger brothers and looked after them whilst she was ill, so moving to the other side of the world must have been especially difficult. He came back after injuries and for family reasons, can't fault him for that.
As for his time back, he never looked settled at Wigan and when Wire signed Hodgson there were a lot of eyebrows raised as Mathers was being talked about for the end of season internationals.
He's the sort of player you like cos he gives it everything. We talk about it being a tough sport so why whinge when it's played tough. He was hardly dropping on people with knees. The Kylie incident was a bigger shock. Even he looked shocked afterwards. But he summed up the game when he went straight to Fox after the whistle and gave him a hug
