He seemed to get a great reception when he came to applaud the fans at the end!

| McDermott was rightly criticised for some abject performances early in the season. He clearly wasnt as bad as some were saying but is he the right man for leeds going forward? Are we in a better position now at the end of this season?

And it was good to hear, he's winning a few round. I only hope those same fans didn't boo him after the Wakefield game.

He is a star in the making! You will be choking on those words for years to come. He's a kid with a handful of SL games under his belt! He will bulk up in time! He has scored 4 trys against you in 2 games. I recon he will be dining out on hudds defence for years to come.

I criticised as well, I hold my hands up. You'd do well to find someone that didn't. But I never wanted him sacked. I just hope some can give credit for good performances as easily as they dish out criticism for the poor ones.

Ha ha ha ha heard it all before, give him a couple of years on the weights and he might be summat, might be.The inside step is a bit predictable even now.
We have stronger 3/4's at Huddersfield already, just waiting for some quality coaching on attack to make them blossom.

His inside step is that predictable your "stronger 3/4's" couldn't read it nor prevent it when he bagged a hat-trick.
Now i will openly admit to rating Cudjoe ,Lawerence and Mgillvary BUT this kid of ours is in only his 1st year as a F/T Pro ,and afaik he's rarely played centre so his potential is huge and certainly capable of surpassing anything he Giants have at their disposal.

If you watch the video of McD on the official site, he mentions that Hardaker has adapted well to centre in the past 4 weeks and is enjoying playing there.

| Hardaker is a star now? Brian just needs to keep with him when he makes mistakes and Leeds will have a perfect replacement for Keef

| Going against the grain a little here with Hardaker but I thought on a couple of occasions the pass would have been a better option than the step off the left foot to cut back in.
Don't get me wrong this kid had a sack full of potential and showed show good skills but a quick, soft pass to his wingman wouldn't go a miss ever now and again.

Spot on. That'll come with experience and game time, and a close season spent on working on his tackling technique will bring him on no end.
Definitely bags of ability and potential, and it's going to be good to see him develop.
