Eh? You have to pay to park on the Green Man, nothing to do if your a resident or not. Been to wembley plenty of times in recent years and taken friends who have never been to rl and always gone and parked on the Green Man and had a great day. I suppose that if you ain't been to wembley as a Leeds fan then I suppose you don't really know what's it's like icon_wink.gif

Yes we used to do the same (long time ago) and take the tube from Harrow on the Hill which gets you close to Wembley

www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/bcf/details.html

we parked here, at beaconsfield, for leeds v donny. the parking is free and its about £12 return from wembley. everyone goes for tube or coach so you are straight on the train. its about 40 minutes.
my mates always use it for wembley. highly recommended

I do something similar as I come from South Wales, I just use a nearby station on the same line. Right to Wembley Stadium station and there isn't all that queueing after the match as everyone seems to want to head into London as opposed to out of it.

I use the above site regularly. There are a lot of residential areas around the big London venues who let you park for a reasonable fee.

The Warrington fans are suggesting this place - 5 mins walk - £20 for a car.

I was in the Green Man the other weekend. Not being nasty like, but it's a sh*thole and I'll be steering well clear on Cup Final day.

As already mentioned, parking by Headstone Lane station and getting the train in is a good bet.

I like this bit...

"Any queries please contact Parkers Car Parks on 07863 319337 and not the school direct. All Profit to the School."

Oh yeah ?

Who audits the accounts to verify the "profit" then icon_lol.gif

I not disputing the fact that it is a sh[sizei[/sizethole, it's one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in but the atmosphere in the beer garden is cracking and literally a 5 minute walk from Wembley stadium.

If it's literally a bed for the night that your after, and you plan on being a bit p[sizei[/sizessed it serves it's purpose.

I wouldn’t advise you to park at Brent Cross, it would be murder on bus to get from the shopping centre to the stadium then to get back of course. Plus the north circular is busy at the best of times let alone when there is a game at Wembley.

I would recommend you park in Kingsbury or the Edgware area, as its pretty easy access to Wembley and the motorway.

Wasn't a nightmare yesterday when the football was on, in fact it was a straight run and that's with Utd and Chelsea playing.

Well the North Circular is normally terrible - you must have been fortunate. I live in Brent so do know how bad the roads can be, i also went to the game yesterday and getting from the stadium in car was a nightmare.

I work there, and work with traffic it can get bad but Wembley isn't usually much to do with it, it's usually an RTC or roadworks at staples corner or worse still the sales at Next (honest they clog the area up rotten), even the flyover roadworks at the moment are not much problem.

Bank holiday weekends are usually quiet when it comes to traffic in and around London for some strange reason.

Trust me it'll be fine especially if you're getting there early so that you can have a few drinks around Wembley.
