| You have better hooker than the pair of them in Paul McShane, i have watched him play a few times now and this kid is class, would be interested to see what you think of him.
I feel you do need 2 hookers in ya side because its the most difficult position on the field to play. But saying that i watched Huddersfield beat Bradford last night and Shaun Lunt played 62 minutes before been replaced only to return after 10 minutes rest that was a fantastic effort.

As part of the team? The record without him in the team at Leeds speaks for itself.
He should never have been signed.'"
It could be argued that with Buderus instead of Diskin we could have actually won more GFs - it is unlikely that we would have won less?

| Due to my attention being diverted whist I adjusted the tartan rug, could someone confirm which hooker it was that bombed that cast iron try at the start of the second half.
Be a shame to castigate an innocent player for that particular piece of tery don't ya think?.....

The same way that made the clean break in the first place?
And he didn't bomb a cast iron try - he simply failed to keep hold of the ball when tackled. He was never going to beat the cover to the line and was duly caught.

Buderus was flagging badly at the end of his first stint and couldn't get to the ptb.
Having said that, I will put it down to early season lack of fitness and the god awful state of the pitch.'"
There was one bit of quick thinking from Buderus that impressed me last night. He got us a penalty on the last tackle when he noticed the markers weren't stood square. Not only did he spot it and take advantage of it, he managed to still be in a position to offload the ball if the penalty wasn't given, which was essential on the 6th tackle.

| What a stupid suggestion, anyone with eyes would have been able to see Diskin's contribution off the bench on his first spell last night. His second spell was hounded by others dropping the ball.

He was actually trying to kick the ball through for JJB must failed to connect foot on ball - a poor decision and execution given the state of the game at the time

Cast iron try? Do me a favour. The most disappointing aspect of that phase for me was that JJB was the main supporting player. No criticism of him intended but I'd rather have seen someone else there.

Been saying this for ages.
Must be in Buderus' contract that he gets the 9 jersey and the starting berth.

Were Leeds in breach of said contract in 2009 then when Buderus started on the bench eight times from seventeen appearances?

No, Hetherington is cute, the contract stipulates that the "majority" of the games must be started hence 9 from 17 were starts.
BTW, how many of those 8 came when he first was getting into the side following his initial injury?
