| Agree with all the above. Did anyone listen to square ball match review podcast at the weekend? Moscow summed it up perfectly. The young lads have zero experience in this situation and have zero experience in playing 46 game season at this level and it shows. The momentum ground to a halt with the international break and we couldn’t get going again.
Interesting their thoughts on the current squad and how it’s almost an u21 squad by age, and it’s also quite unbalanced as it’s got no goal scoring ability in midfield or at 10, and if we stay in Champ next year we could have a better balanced squad via the funds raised from the sale of Summerville for example.

| As Tad has said a superb season given the turmoil at the start.
Perhaps teams have worked out how to play against a side that provides no threat from midfield or corners. Farke needs to up the team's options - Rutter needs to slow down and provide more quality.
The idea that Sommerville is worth £40m is delusional - a one trick pony if ever there was one. Not somebody I would want in my team when your back is against the wall. It is no surprise his contributions have tailed off since the team's form has.
Gnonto is an odd one - seems very immature and gets into silly squabbles rather than let his talent do his talking. Can be a great asset when his head is in the right place. If he is fit I would swap him out for James and play Connor at right back.
Never thought I would say this but Bamford is a key player in this team and hopefully he is fit for Sunday
What was worrying was the space Southampton had through the midfield - both players look very tired - I would play Gray in midfield to take some of the burden off the other two.
Tad is correct the club is in a good place promotion or no promotion.

Will James be fit for Sunday?
Both him and Rutter coming on back end of the second half would work.
From the team you have posted I might be tempted to switch Gray to LB and have Roberts in at RB.

| wouldn't shock me to see roberts at right back and gray in midfield, slightly advanced nut as a solid 3 in the centre

| Can see Piroe at 10 on Sunday, Rutter is well off the pace and needs a rest. I'd go Roberts at RB for his experience and leadership if he's fit enough. Bamford absolutely starts if fit as does James. We need experience in this team.
We've also missed Strujik if truth be told too.. he'd have given us options at left centre back and been able to put Ampadu into midfield to bolster it. I think Gruev hasn't been 100% fit either, he's not covering the same amount of ground.

| No Bam Bam for both the Norwich games.
I do think we look better when he plays even though he misses more than he scores.
Be tempted to offload him next year due in the main to the money he earns and his injury record.

| I'd get rid too. misses too many games.
just back from city. another cup bought for. very impressive team but they probably spend more on the under 18s than many championship sides spend on the first team. bought one of our under 15s not long back for a few million quid. cherry pick all the best talent

| How did Cresswell and Crew perform last night?
It`s a shame teams like City are allowed to spend that amount of money.
Maybe at that level it should be salary capped to make it an even playing field for all teams concerned.

Yea, Finlay Gorman. He's a generational talent. They definitely need to look at amending the rules. City's academy is ridiculous.

实事求是!: |
|
| If Leeds don’t go up this season it’s very difficult to see them going up again in the foreseeable future.
There are alot of players on the books who we will lose money on, if we can get any money at all. Wober, Koch, Llorente, Aaronson.
The sale of a few of our crown jewels should we fail in the playoffs will significantly weaken the squad without the requisite reinvestment due to above said nooses.
Leeds will then be competing against teams fresh from the PL with full parachute payments. After season 1, every season you don’t go up makes it progressively harder. It took a miracle from Bielsa before.
It’s now, or they are stuck.
