| Eastmond was apparently out due to a hamstring complaint. It’s a bit uncanny this endless run of injuries in training.

| Season over imo. Hugely disappointed in that loss. Game was there for the taking. All about trying to finish somewhere respectable now

| Well, 5 games in and the table looks about right already.
Top 2 guaranteed.
The next 4 will make up the play offs (maybe not in the current order).
Hudds & HKR should be OK.
We are bottom 4 inevitably.
Thankfully, Leigh will mean we are unlikely to be in a relegation scrap (hopefully)....

Was it last year or the year before that Wigan were in a similar position to us at this point?
We aren’t going to be anywhere near the top 2 but it’s way too early to call the rest of it.

It was a dire game, and Huddersfield if they had anything about them should have taken us to the cleaners in the second half, they looked average to me.

| Appalling game throughout and will go down as the worst game of the season. Hugely disappointing that’s for sure. Hurrell really needs to get into gear before he gets any opportunity for a new contract.

Don’t worry ,
They don’t like what I say on here, I walk through brick walls for this club. But we cannot continue to hide behind injuries.
The amount of mistakes we are making is unacceptable, Wigan lose players they put a kid into the team, watching that kid it’s as if he played there for all his Wigan career. Some of Agar decisions don’t start up to scrutiny. Some on here would wipe Agars booty if they could, I fully understand support the team but some people give support blindly without question. Even with everyone fit we are still half a dozen top players behind Saints and Wigan, it doesn’t seem we can attract the top players.
For every action they has to be a reaction, if not there has to be consequences. It’s time for a change
Swap the word booty'"
same with sts , times we've lost to match winning debut, have any of our kids really taken their opportunity ?

Seems there’s a distinct lack of development goes on for the mental side of the game to me especially where discipline and unforced errors are concerned. Ask most players how much the game is played between your ears and they’d say about 80% though what do coaches actually provide as development in this area.

| Quote: christopher "I don’t think anyone is blindly accepting them.
But you cannot simply take out the current injury situation out of the equation.
Bar the Hull KR game we have been in and competed in every game, if the team looked disinterested or like they didn’t care or put any effort in then I too would question the coaching set up (like when Furner was here)
We should hopefully have some players back when we play again and the weeks rest could do us a lot of good!'"
I agree with you about both the impact of the injuries, its debilitating but not so much that we can’t have better last tackle options (Saints and Wigan), and about bringing the squad together mentioned in my original post as ironically Agar’s best quality). HKR was abysmal and as bad as the days of Furner IMO.
When we get players back of course we will improve, it’d be hard not to given the quality of our play at the moment, but I guess my main point is why do we have so many players that make the same errors week after week, and show the same ill discipline. It’s the last two that are at the coaches door for me, and why I’d be looking to make a change at the end of this season.

I think Agar will leave his position anyway at the end of the season.
Its the posters calling for a change now that I have an issue with
