| Looking at how things have been managed since McDermott left it looks to me as if Sinfield is the head coach and has been for some time. Will he “butt out” if a new man is appointed? I have my doubts.

Just listened to Wane on the BBC 5 live podcast speaking to Dave Woods and it sounds to me like if Leeds approached him he would be seriously interested.
I don't want it to happen but have to say he looks to be the front runner.

He's in the shop window and Leeds are more desperate than Wigan

Not unless they have someone else lined up.

| If Wane was first choice or even being considered we would have spoken to him by now. From this I assume we are looking elsewhere.

| Wane would be a very high risk option for Sinfield and Hetherington, if he didn’t work out the stick they are getting now would pale in comparison.
I was totally against Wane but I’m changing my mind a bit, I didn’t like the way Wigan played under him but he is a very strict no nonsense coach, and each player in the squad knew exactly what they were expected to do or they were dropped, maybe that’s what we need with this current lot who seem to think they can turn up put no effort in and still get picked.
Wigan at there best under Wane were tough, and very structured so whoever played knew what they had to do, pretty much the opposite of what we are at the moment.
Would Wane have accepted Tui stepping out of that tackle against Salford? I doubt it.

I hope they’re on the phone constantly to Flanagan

I don't see him going back to Wigan whilst Lenighan is still there. Big egos clashed at the end and something went off behind the scenes. He should never have left they are the perfect fit.

| My mind goes back to when Bamford first took over He motivated them to a long unbeaten run and they won that John Player trophy . He went into the dressing room and told them to look at that Jersey you're all wearing it's the blue and Amber of ?eeds you are privileged to follow the great players who wore it .Let's have some pride .
